Modem Light Indicators
Power

On - Modem is receiving power.

Cable

Off - No downstream RF carrier or power off.
Flashing Slow (1 sec) - Downstream RF carrier present and ranging.
Flashing Fast (.1 sec) - Registration in process.
Solid - Modem is acquired.

Test Off - Initial self-test ok or power off.
Flashing - Initial self-test or downloading software in progress.
Solid - Self-test failure.
USB

Off - No USB connection detected.
Flashing - Indicates activity over USB interface.
Solid - USB connection is detected with no activity over interface.

WLAN Off - No wireless lan link has been detected.
Flashing - Indicates activity through wireless lan.
10/100 Mbps
(1-4)
Off - Indicates 10Base-T connection to port.
Solid - Indicates 100Base-T connection to port.
Link/Act
(1-4)

Off - No ethernet carrier present on port.
Flashing - Indicates ethernet activity on port.
Solid - Ethernet carrier is detected on port with no activity.

Notes and Useful Information:

This is a cable modem router. For some cable providers, it is only supported
for use as a stand alone cable modem. The modem must be put into ‘bridge’
mode to disable firewall and router functions.
