Denna ska tutorial vägleder dig, i att nedladda som installerar, och ställa in - upp Azureus (en Bittorrent beställare som fungerar i OS X) - och ska därefter visa dig att hur man använder Azureus för att nedladda sparar.
Denna tutorial använder den Azureus versionen 2.4.0.2 - som kan vara nedladdat här.
NOTERA: Om du har en Intel Mac (PowerBook, PowerBook Pro ny iMac etc.) se till att nedladda Binär universal version av Azureus - som kan finnas här (snirkel till Universell binär version dela upp av sidan) och räddningen dig huvudvärken av att undra varför Azureus ska inte start),
Om du har installerat Azureus och precis, önska redan att veta hur man använder den, klicka här för att hoppa over besegrar.
- Första steg - nedladdning Azureus - räddning det till ditt skrivbords-.
- Dubblett-klicka .dmgen sparar dig sparade precis till ditt skrivbords-, därefter
- Acceptera överenskommelsen, genom att klicka Instämma
- Dubblett-klicka den monterade volymen
- Till insall friktion Azureus till ditt Applikationer mapp
- Lokalisera Azureus i dina applikationer och starta den
- Du kan meddelas för att uppdatera Azureus (eller del av den) - klickar Annullering denna tid - du ska meddelas för att uppdatera den nästa tiden dig öppna Azureus - gör den därefter
- Välj engelska (eller allt vad språk som du föredrar), och därefter Därefter > att fortsätta
- Standarden Användarekunnighet jämnt är Nybörjare - se till, att det har utvalt och klicka Därefter > att fortsätta
- På denna avskärma dig ska behov att välja din rusade internetanslutning. Om du är i Nordamerika och har kabel eller DSL (bredband), är det kassaskåpet som lämnar standardinställningarna. Om du har ”en lite” version av kabel eller DSL, eller du är stillbilden genom att använda dial-up, är det en bra idé att välja ett lägre jämnar. Ordna till, klicka, när du är Därefter > att fortsätta
- Här ska du behov att köra en testa. Klicka Testa
- Se till att testa kommer tillbaka REKO! och klicka därefter Därefter > att fortsätta
- Välj ett läge
- Du göras! Klicka Nära
- Nu kan du börja att nedladda flöden, eller starta Azureus om igen för att nedladda och installera några uppdateringar.
- Lokalisera .torrenten sparar dig önskar att nedladda och räddningen det till ditt skrivbords-
- Dubblett-klicka den .torrent för att öppna Azureus (om den inte är redan),
- Släpa .torrenten sparar från ditt skrivbords- in i det tomma utrymmet i den bästa halvan av Azureus (se för att avbilda nedanfört) och låt för att gå
- Välj Bläddrande knäppas för att välja ett läge var du önskar till räddningen spara
- Because this example .torrent is a Black Crowes concert, I’ll save the files in my Music folder
- After you’ve selected a location and are returned to the previous screen, select OK to begin downloading the contents of your .torrent
- If you’d like to monitor the status of your download, double-click the torrent name in the summary window
- The General tab will be displayed by default, and it’s on this screen you can see how much you’ve downloaded, what percentage your download is at, etc.
- When your download is complete - this can be anywhere from a few seconds to several days, depending on what you’re downloading (file size, your connection speed, how many seeds there are) - the Remaining: field (see image below) will display a Finished in XXhrs XXmins message. NOTE: it is considered good Internet etiquette to allow your download to achieve a ratio of 1:1 or higher. Make sure your Share Ratio gets to 1.000 or higher before you exit Azureus or stop the torrent.

This is helpful, but I can’t find anywhere how to get Azureus to allow uploads for mac. I spent the last several hours getting the port mapping to allow for uploads, but now it says I am firewalled and I have no idea how to get around it….firewall is turned off in network settings…I am using an airport extreme…any ideas?
in setting up azureus what do I do if step 12 reports not ok?

If you get a NAT error:
1. Open System Preferences -> Sharing -> Firewall
2. Click “New…”
3. Enter:
- Port Name: Other
- TCP Port Numbers(s): 28135 (or whatever port you have Azureus configured to use)
- UDP Port Numbers(s): same as TCP port number
- Description: Azureus
You should see Azureus appear in the Firewall list. It should have the checkbox checked - which means traffic is allowed. When you open Azureus, all should be well
My computer keeps telling me that:
Library/Application Support/Azureus/torrents
is an invalid directory. What should I do if I get this?

Hi. Running 3.0.3.4 on 2.0 Intel 10.4.10 Mac.
The speeds are very slow , between 2-5kB/s downloading. Tried a few different TCP ports to no avail. Speed test shows 80kb/s though. Getting constant NAT errors. Any suggestions?

i had the same problem…
right click on the torrent file you want to download, then click “open with” - once you click azerus, an option should come up asking if you want this program to be defaulted for all files of this type, click yes.

why won’t azureus open up so i can install it even once i’ve dragged it into the applications folder?
I’m having the same problem as kiddo. Azureus won’t even open so that I can install it. Any tips?
If you use a wireless router such as Airport Express and get the NAT errors, you need to configure your port mapping. Go to Applications>Utilities>AirPort Admin Utility. Once there, chose the router you are using and click Configure. A new window will open and you’ll have a menu tab to chose from. Chose Port Mapping. Click “Add”. Enter your Public Port you have chosen. Enter your Private Address. If you don’t know your Private Address, go to Apple Menu>System Preferences. Next click “Network”. Next click “TCP/IP”. Your Private Address is your IP Address. Back to your AirPort Admin, enter in your Private Address. Next, enter in your Private Port. Your private port will be the same as your Public Port. Click OK then Update your router. When you’re finished, go into Configuration Wizard and try to test your port. It should work now.
