I’m currently using my motorola sb5100 on my PC using windows XP, I’ve just bought a MAcbook pro and I can’t seem to install the modem onto it. Eu estou usando atualmente o meu motorola sb5100 no meu PC com o Windows XP, eu só comprei um MacBook Pro, e eu não posso parecer para instalar o modem nele. Is it even compatable with MAC OS X? Será que é mesmo compatível com o Mac OS X?

I have the SB5100 -when I restarted,only power led on and the “send” led is flashing.No other led’s on.Will not respond to restart.Any suggestions?? evelyn what you should do is unplug the modem from the wall wait 30 seconds then plug it back in. that should help with your problem and if it does call you local internet provider. Im a Canadian user whose ISP issues these modems out with the service. Im um canadense usuário cujo ISP estas questões modems para fora com o serviço. I went ahead and bought a modem off ebay so I wouldnt have to keep renting it from my ISP but the American made modem won’t work on my PC with my ISP. Fui em frente e comprou um modem off ebay assim que eu wouldnt têm de manter-lo de arrendamento, mas o meu provedor americano fez modem não irá funcionar no meu PC com meu provedor. Any ideas? Alguma idéia? Is it possible there is a lock of some type that prevents this modem from being used outside of the USA? É possível existir um bloqueio de alguns que impeça este tipo de modem sendo usados fora do E.U.A.?
