Notes and Useful Information
When this modem is in stand-by mode, the Internet/Power light will be off. All other lights will operate normally. While in stand-by mode, you may still be able to release/renew an IP address without any problems. Please keep this in mind when troubleshooting PC connectivity issues. This modem has been known to go into stand-by mode automatically when acquired for the first time. Please be aware of this as a commonly overlooked problem for new installations. I’m having problems with download speed while using the DCM305.. I was told there could be NAT issues… is there a way to port forward with this model or should it not be an issue?
