How to tell which version of (insert program name here) you’re using

Mac Windows

The steps are usually pretty similar to determine any programs “version number” ..

If you use Windows, start by opening the program in question. Select Help from the menu bar, and then About from the drop-down list.

The version number is almost always in there somewhere :)

If you use OS X, you can determine a programs “version number” by opening it, selecting it’s application menu from the menu bar, and then About from the drop-down list.

Again, the version number will be in there somewhere :)
