Do i need to update Modem Drivers.

Though I did email this to Richard, I thought it appropriate to post here in case anyone else has the same question.

    Richard,

Nope – if you’re online using your modem, I’d suggest you leave it alone (I subscribe to the “don’t fix it if it isn’t broken” theory). With that said, if you’re connected via USB and want to upgrade your drivers to try and improve performance, they can be found here.

I’d strongly suggest that you have a backup of the older drivers (do you still have the CD that came w/ the modem?) just in case something goes wrong. Hope this helps!

The online light on my modem is blinking. If I keep resetting it, I finally get a solid light and can get on the internet. This started about a week ago. Is my modem going bad or is there another solution??? Thank you!!!
