I have one issue: I edited the xorg.conf file to get 1440×900 resolution in my MacBook Pro but I can see this resolution in the screen resolution list. I have had a problem with some special character like @ or € because it didn’t type tehm. He tenido un problema con algunos caracteres especiales como @ o €, ya que no tehm tipo. The solution was to enable the “Third level choosers key”; here is how: La solución es permitir que el "Tercer nivel choosers clave"; aquí es cómo:
go to System->Preferences->Keyboard->Leyout Options vaya a Sistema-> Preferencias-> Teclado-> Opciones Leyout
open the third level chooser and check the “press the right Alt key to choose the 3° level”. abrir el selector de tercer nivel y comprobar los "pulse la tecla Alt derecho a elegir el 3 ° nivel".
I have tested only with the italian layout but it must works with all the layouts and the symbols that you type pressing the Alt key on Mac Os x. He probado sólo con el diseño italiano pero debe trabaja con todos los diseños y los símbolos que usted escribe pulsando la tecla Alt en Mac OS X.

I was also encountering the “Unable to locate RSDP” error. También me encuentro con el "No se ha podido localizar RSDP" error. I found that interupting the grub and booting into failsafe, then running file system check (fsck) fixed my problems.
