This brief tutorial will show you how to disable (turn off) the system sounds in Windows XP. Questo breve tutorial vi mostrerà come disattivare (disabilitare) i suoni di sistema in Windows XP. Because they’re annoying. Perchè sono fastidiosi.
- Start by clicking Start and selecting the Control Panel Inizio facendo clic su Start e selezionando il Pannello di controllo
- If you’re using the Category view, you’ll be presented with a very similar screen as the one below. - If you’re prompted to save your previous sound scheme, click Yes Se sei chiesto di salvare il vostro suono regime precedente, fare clic su Sì

I tried turning the sounds off with the above message, but now I get an annoying loud beep if I adjust the volume (rather than the “Windows XP Ding” that I was getting.) Is there a way to make that go away? If you go into the registry … Se si va nel Registro di sistema…
1.) Go to “Start–>Run” and type “Regedit” in the command prompt. 1.) Vai a "Start-> Esegui" e digita "regedit" nel prompt dei comandi. Then hit OK. Quindi premere OK.
2.) Navigate to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound” 2.) Passare a "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Sound"
3.) Right click on “Beep” on the right side of the screen and select “Modify” 3.) Clicca con il tasto destro su "Beep" sul lato destro dello schermo e selezionare "Modifica"
4.) Change the value in the box to “No” 4.) Modificare il valore nella casella di "No"
5.) Exit and reboot the computer. 5.) Uscire e riavviare il computer.

Great tip! Grande punta! Noticed how the PC boots up, shuts down and generally does tasks faster without sounds. Noti come il PC si avvia, si spegne e, in generale, non compiti più veloce senza suoni.

Try this… Prova questo…
Device manager –> View, check “show hidden devices”—> non-plug and play Drivers; right click “beep” and disable.. Gestione periferiche -> Visualizza, selezionare "Mostra periferiche nascoste" -> non Plug and Play Driver; fare clic destro "bip" e disattivare .. i think this may be little safer the messing with registry and is more permanent….hopefully. Credo che questo può essere poco sicure fare con il Registro di sistema ed è più permanente…. spera.
Some other annoying Windows stuff in there to disable also…enjoy..and hope this works for ya. Alcuni altri fastidiosi Windows roba lì per disattivare anche godere… .. e di speranza per questo funziona ya.
