In preparation for a series of tutorials on The Gimp, this tutorial will guide you in installing X11, a required system for the Gimp to run in OS X. في اطار التحضير لسلسلة من الدروس علي الاعرج ، وسوف توجه هذه الدورة التعليميه في تركيب لكم x11 ، المطلوبة لنظام الاعرج لتشغيل نظام التشغيل فى العاشر.
This tutorial is for OS X 10.4 (Tiger). هذه الدورة التعليميه لنظام التشغيل هو العاشر 10.4 (النمر). If you’re a 10.3 (Panther) user, visit اذا كنت من 10.3 (النمر) المستخدم ، زيارة this page هذه الصفحه) to download X11 if it’s not on your OS X install CD. لتحميل x11 اذا لم العاشر على تثبيت نظام التشغيل الخاص بك مؤتمر نزع السلاح.
- Insert your OS X Tiger Install Disc (#1). Scroll down to locate the Optional Installs icon (it’s embarrassing how long it took me to figure that out) and double-click it تضاف نظام التشغيل الخاص بك العاشر النمر تركيب القرص (# 1). انزل الاختياري لتحديد مكان تثبيت الرمز (أنها احراج الذي تستغرقه لي ان اصل الى الشكل) وانقر نقرأ مزدوجا فوقه
- Click Continue on the first screen انقر على الاستمرار في اول الشاشه
- Read the Software License Agreement and then click Continue برامج قراءة اتفاقيه الترخيص ثم انقر فوق تواصل
- Click Agree انقر على الاتفاق
- Select a location and (you guessed it) click Continue وحدد موقعا (أنت خمنت انها (انقر على متابعة
- Click the small triangle directly next to Applications and then place a check in the box labeled X11 . انقر على المثلث الصغيرة التالي مباشرة الى التطبيقات وبعد ذلك مكان علامة في المربع الموجود المسمى x11. When you’re ready, click Upgrade . عندما تكون مستعدا ، انقر فوق ترقية.
- Enter your password when prompted, and then click OK ادخال كلمة السر عند السؤال ، ثم انقر فوق موافق
- The installation won’t take too long تركيب لن تأخذ وقتا طويلا
- After X11 has successfully installed, click Close بعد ان نجحت في تركيب x11 ، انقر فوق اغلاق
- X11 can now be found in Applications > Utilities > X11 X11 ويمكن الآن العثور عليها في التطبيقات> المرافق> x11

Excellent! ممتاز! I am embarrassed to say that I did not notice that the window had other items that had to be scrolled to when I first saw it today as well. وانا احرجت ان اقول انني لم نلاحظ ان النافذة قد البنود الاخرى التي كان لا بد من scrolled لأنني عندما شهد اليوم الاول ايضا. I knew that I did not want to go through the regular install, because it included all of the base OS X files. كنت أعرف أنني لم أكن أريد أن أذهب من خلال تثبيت العاديه ، لأنه يتضمن كل نظام تشغيل للقاعدة ملفات x. Believe it or not I also had problems finding the “Optional Installs” icon!!! صدق أو لا تصدق ، كما اتيحت لي مشاكل العثور على "تثبيت الاختياري" ايقونه! They hide it well . وهي تخفي قلقها ايضا.

I have X11 installed, on Mac OS 10.4.9. لقد ركبت x11 ، على نظام تشغيل ماك 10.4.9.
I have been trying to use GIMP and Gimpshop, with no success, I tried also to find وقد حاولت استخدام gimpshop والأعرج ، ولم يكتب النجاح ، كما حاولت العثور على links صلات and sites for it but it gets hard for me to find. ولكن المواقع لأنها تحصل عليه من الصعب بالنسبة لي ان تجد. X11 launches all right, but Gimp doesn’t -or rather, it does, but I have no Menus (File etc). X11 تطلق كل الحق ، ولكن لا الأعرج - او بالاحرى ، فانها ، ولكن ليس لدي اي القوائم (ملف ، الخ).
When Gimp is running, the only menus at the top of my screen are for X11. عندما يركض والأعرج ، فقط القوائم في اعلى الشاشه هي بلدي لx11. I cannot process any images that way. لا استطيع ان عملية اية صور على هذا النحو.
What is at fault? ما هو على خطأ؟ X11 or Gimp? X11 أو الأعرج؟

Install is much the same in Leopard as 10.4. تثبيت نفسها كثيرا ما نمر في 10،4. X is part of the optional installs on the DVD as is Xcode. X هي جزء من تثبيت الاختياري على قرص الفيديو الرقمي كما هو xcode.

To the best of my knowledge, you can’t. على حد علمي ، لا يمكنك. Apple doesn’t offer X11 for Tiger as a download (or, they didn’t as of 3-4 months ago). تفاح لا تتيح لx11 النمر بوصفها تحميل (او انهم لم اعتبارا من 3-4 أشهر). You need the Tiger disc. كنت بحاجة النمر القرص.
