How to re-position or change the OS X dock alignment

The short answer is to download and install Deeper. Once it’s installed, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. To move your Dock, open Deeper and select Dock

  2. Select a Position and Alignment


    3. click to enlarge

  3. And now your dock is where you want it!

    Where is the long answer? Deeper doesn’t work with 10.5 yet.

    I know! I’ll hunt down the long answer - I know I have it around somewhere in a text file w/ various OS X commands…
