How to stop the Sidebar from automatically running when Windows Vista starts

Windows
  1. Start by right-clicking in a blank part of the Sidebar and select Properties
  2. Remove the check from the box labeled Start Sidebar when Windows starts and click OK

  3. click to enlarge

  4. That’s it - no more Sidebar!
