Αυτό το σεμινάριο θα σας καθοδηγήσει στην εγκατάσταση, την καθιέρωση και χρησιμοποίηση του πλοηγού παραθύρων Avant (αιθήρας) - ένας αποβάθρα-όπως φραγμός που κάθεται στο κατώτατο σημείο του υπολογιστή γραφείου Linux σας.
Αιθήρας απαιτεί compositor όπως Beryl ή Compiz προκειμένου να τρέξει.
- Αποθήκες αναπροσαρμογών
- Εγκαταστήστε τον αιθήρα
- Αιθήρας τρεξίματος
- Προσθήκη apps στον αιθήρα
- Θέτοντας προτιμήσεις αιθήρων
- Ανοίξτε ένα τερματικό με την επιλογή Εφαρμογές -> Εξαρτήματα -> Τερματικό. Κατόπιν εισάγετε την εντολή:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
και πληκτρολογέστε τον προσωπικό κωδικό ρίζας σας όταν προτρέπεται
- Προσθέστε τις ακόλουθες δύο γραμμές στο τέλος του αρχείου sources.list σας:
deb νευρικός avant-παράθυρο-πλοηγός του http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42
deb-src νευρικός avant-παράθυρο-πλοηγός του http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42και σώστε έπειτα το αρχείο και το στενό gedit.
Πίσω Τερματικό, εισάγετε τις ακόλουθες πέντε γραμμές, μια σε έναν χρόνο:
- wget http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42/8434D43A.gpg - ο | το ικανός-κλειδί sudo προσθέτει -
- rm 8434D43A.gpg
- το sudo ικανός-παίρνει την αναπροσαρμογή
- το sudo ικανός-παίρνει τη βελτίωση
- το sudo ικανός-παίρνει εγκαθιστά τον avant-παράθυρο-πλοηγό
- Στο πληκτρολόγιό σας, συγκρατήστε το κλειδί και το χτύπημα F2 ALT. Εισάγετε avant-παράθυρο-πλοηγός και χτυπήστε Τρέξιμο.
- Ένα μικρό κιβώτιο θα εμφανιστεί στο κατώτατο σημείο της οθόνης σας. Αυτό είναι αιθήρας, χωρίς το τρέξιμο apps.
- Με Προγράμματα ξεκινήματος η ετικέττα που επιλέγεται, χτυπά Νέος κουμπί.
- Εισάγετε Αιθήρας σαν όνομα και avant-παράθυρο-πλοηγός Εντολή τομέας.
- Σιγουρευτείτε ότι η νέα είσοδος έχει δημιουργηθεί, κατόπιν κρότος Κλείστε. Την επόμενη φορά αρχίζετε Ubuntu, ο αιθήρας θα αρχίσει με την.
Για να έχουν την έναρξη αιθήρων κάθε φορά που μπότες Ubuntu, επίλεκτες Σύστημα -> Προτιμήσεις -> Σύνοδοι.
- Επιλέξτε το πρόγραμμα από Εφαρμογές επιλογές με τον κρότο και κρατώντας το κουμπί του ποντικιού κάτω, τον συρετε έπειτα στην αποβάθρα και την απελευθέρωση.
- Ο σωστός-κρότος μια κενή περιοχή του προωθητή αιθήρων και επιλέγει Προτιμήσεις
- Από εδώ μπορείτε να τροποποιήσετε όλες τις τοποθετήσεις αιθήρων.

how to add plugins? is it as simple as moving the .so file to ~/.awn/plugins

Huh. OK well though I’m not sure it’s related, in fact I’m almost guessing it’s not - you can TRY the fixes outlined in this thread: http://www.planetblur.org/hosted/awnforum/index.php?shard=forum&action=g_reply&ID=302&page=1&isLive=true
If that doesn’t work, I’d try asking in the Ubuntu forums @ http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=385981
But before you do, make absolutely sure that you’re running the latest version of Beryl and AWN - that’s the first thing they’ll suggest.
In other words, I have no idea

Hey Scott, your running beryl-settings-manager, run beryl-manager, i can tell its not in the system tray, should fix the problem =)
When I try to run the first line of “Install AWN” i get this:

I’ve been looking for the past day or so on how to in stall AWN, finally I managed it, and now this extremely useful instruction to add launchers, thanks so much.

everything but “sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-svn” and I already have “# sudo apt-get update” and “# sudo apt-get upgrade”… why is it not working?
Hey, don’t forget that after you put the new repos in to: sudo apt-get update
the bar is installed and running great but i keep getting this error ‘E:Type ?echo? is not known on line 63 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list, E:The list of sources could not be read.’
it said could not find avant navigator svn
I was having ALOT of problems with AVN and i fixed everything by updating my graphics driver to nvidia 180 instead of 177, also using compiz-fusion.
