Dit leerprogramma zal u in het installeren, vestiging en het gebruiken van de Navigator van het Venster Avant (Baard) - een dok-als staaf begeleiden die bij de bodem van uw Desktop Linux zit.
Baard vereist een letterzetter zoals Beryl of Compiz te lopen.
- De Bewaarplaatsen van de update
- Installeer Baard
- De Baard van de looppas
- Het toevoegen apps aan Baard
- De plaatsende Voorkeur van de Baard
De Bewaarplaatsen van de update
- Open een Terminal door te selecteren Toepassingen -> Toebehoren -> Terminal. Dan ga het bevel in:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
en ga uw wortelwachtwoord in wanneer veroorzaakt
- Voeg de volgende twee lijnen aan de bodem van uw sources.list- dossier toe:
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42 feisty avant-venster-navigator
deb-src http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42 feisty avant-venster-navigatoren sla dan het dossier en dichte gedit op.
Terug in Terminal, ga tegelijkertijd in de volgende vijf lijnen:
- wget http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42/8434D43A.gpg - O | de sudo geschikt-sleutel voegt toe -
- rm 8434D43A.gpg
- sudo geschikt-krijgt update
- sudo geschikt-krijgt verbetering
- sudo geschikt-krijgt installeert avant-venster-navigator
- Voor uw toetsenbord, onderdruk de altsleutel en de klap F2. Ga binnen avant-venster-navigator en klik Looppas.
- Een kleine doos zal bij de bodem van het uw scherm verschijnen. Dit is Baard, zonder apps het lopen.
- Met Start Programma's geselecteerde het lusje, klikt Nieuw knoop.
- Ga binnen Baard als naam en avant-venster-navigator in Bevel gebied.
- Zorg ervoor dat de nieuwe ingang, dan klik is gecre�ërd Sluit. De volgende tijd u begint Ubuntu, zal de Baard met het beginnen.
Om het begin van de Baard te hebben telkens als uitgezochte laarzen Ubuntu, Systeem -> Voorkeur -> Zittingen.
- Selecteer het programma van Toepassingen menu door te klikken en in bedwang houdend de muisknoop, sleep het dan aan het dok en de versie.
De plaatsende Voorkeur van de Baard
- Klik een leeg gebied van de lanceerinrichting van de Baard met de rechtermuisknop aan en kies Voorkeur
- Van hier kunt u alle montages van de Baard wijzigen.

how to add plugins? is it as simple as moving the .so file to ~/.awn/plugins

Huh. OK well though I’m not sure it’s related, in fact I’m almost guessing it’s not - you can TRY the fixes outlined in this thread: http://www.planetblur.org/hosted/awnforum/index.php?shard=forum&action=g_reply&ID=302&page=1&isLive=true
If that doesn’t work, I’d try asking in the Ubuntu forums @ http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=385981
But before you do, make absolutely sure that you’re running the latest version of Beryl and AWN - that’s the first thing they’ll suggest.

Hey Scott, your running beryl-settings-manager, run beryl-manager, i can tell its not in the system tray, should fix the problem =)
When I try to run the first line of “Install AWN” i get this:

I’ve been looking for the past day or so on how to in stall AWN, finally I managed it, and now this extremely useful instruction to add launchers, thanks so much.

everything but “sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-svn” and I already have “# sudo apt-get update” and “# sudo apt-get upgrade”… why is it not working?
Hey, don’t forget that after you put the new repos in to: sudo apt-get update
the bar is installed and running great but i keep getting this error ‘E:Type ?echo? is not known on line 63 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list, E:The list of sources could not be read.’
it said could not find avant navigator svn
I was having ALOT of problems with AVN and i fixed everything by updating my graphics driver to nvidia 180 instead of 177, also using compiz-fusion.
