How to backup the Windows XP registry, boot files and other system files ¿Cómo realizar una copia de seguridad de Windows XP registro, ficheros de arranque del sistema y otros archivos

In preparation for a serious of tips/tricks that involve editing the Windows XP registry, here’sa tutorial that explains how to back up the registry (and other system files). 1. Start by clicking the Start button and selecting All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and finally Backup . Para empezar, haga clic en el botón Inicio y seleccionando Todos los programas -> Accesorios -> Herramientas del sistema y finalmente Copia de seguridad.
2. When the Backup wizard launches, click Advanced Mode Cuando el asistente de copia de seguridad en los lanzamientos, haga clic en Modo avanzado

3. Select the Backup tab and place a check in the box labeled System State . Seleccione la pestaña de copia de seguridad en lugar y un cheque en el cuadro denominado Sistema Estado. Click the Browse… button. Haga clic en el botón Examinar….

4. If an “Insert Disk” window pops up, just click Cancel Si un "Inserte el disco" ventana, haga clic en Cancelar

6. Click the Start Backup button. Haga clic en el botón Inicio de copia de seguridad.



7. Depending on how many files are being backed up, this can take a few minutes. Según la cantidad de archivos están siendo apoyados, esto puede tardar unos minutos. The longer you’ve had XP installed (or the more programs you’ve installed), the longer it can take.
