In preparation for a serious of tips/tricks that involve editing the Windows XP registry, here's a tutorial that explains how to back up the registry (and other system files). 1. Start by clicking the Start button and selecting All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and finally Backup . Sāciet, noklikšķinot uz pogas Sākt un izvēloties All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools un, visbeidzot, Backup.
2. When the Backup wizard launches, click Advanced Mode Kad Backup vednis uzsāk, noklikšķiniet uz Advanced Mode

3. Select the Backup tab and place a check in the box labeled System State . Izvēlieties Backup cilni un vietu pārbaudi lodziņu sistēmas stāvokļa. Click the Browse… button. Noklikšķiniet uz Pārlūkot pogu ....

4. If an “Insert Disk” window pops up, just click Cancel Ja "Ievietot diska" window pops up, vienkārši noklikšķiniet uz Atcelt



5. Select a location to save your backup, and enter a name for the file. Izvēlieties vietu, kur saglabāt savas rezerves, un ievadiet faila nosaukumu. Click the Save button. Noklikšķiniet uz pogas Saglabāt.

6. Click the Start Backup button. Noklikšķiniet uz Start Backup pogu.



7. Depending on how many files are being backed up, this can take a few minutes. Atkarībā no tā, cik daudz faili tiek jāatbalsta, tas var ilgt dažas minūtes. The longer you've had XP installed (or the more programs you've installed), the longer it can take. Ilgāk tu esi bijusi XP instal (vai vairākas programmas, uzinstalēju), ilgāk tā nevar veikt.



8. When it's done, click the Close button. Kad tas ir paveikts, noklikšķiniet uz pogas Aizvērt.



9. Find your newly created backup file. Atrast savu jaunizveidoto backup failu. Right-click the file and select Properties . Ar peles labo pogu noklikšķiniet uz faila un izvēlieties Properties.



10. Notice that it's probably rather large. Paziņojumu, ka tas ir iespējams diezgan liels. At this point might want to back the file up on a CD-R or DVD-R, rather than have it take up space on your hard drive. Šajā vietā varētu gribēt atpakaļ fails līdzi CD-R vai DVD-R, nevis ir tā aizņem vietu uz cietā diska.
