This brief tutorial/overview will walk you step-by-step through installing, setting up and using Google Desktop Search for Linux - specifically in Ubuntu. هذا باختصار الدورة التعليميه / نظرة عامة على المشي وسوف لكم تدريجي من خلال تركيب وانشاء واستخدام صور بحث سطح المكتب في لينكس -- وجه التحديد في اوبونتو.
- Visit زيارة http://desktop.google.com/linux/ and download Google Desktop for Linux (the .deb file). وتحميل صور لسطح المكتب لينكس). deb الملف). Once the download has finished, double-click the file. وبمجرد الانتهاء من التحميل ، انقر نقرأ مزدوجا فوق الملف.

- On your keyboard, hold down the alt key and hit F2 . على لوحة المفاتيح ، وأبق ضاغطا على مفتاح بديل وتصل الى الطور الثاني. Enter gdlinux and click Run . ادخل gdlinux وانقر فوق تشغيل.
- Here you’ll need to decide if you want to enable the Advanced Features or not. وهنا عليك ان تقرر اذا كنت ترغب في تمكين الميزات المتقدمه ام لا. It doesn’t really matter what you choose - you can always change your mind later. حقا انها لا المساله ما اخترت -- يمكنك دائما تغيير رأيك في وقت لاحق. I enabled them. انا مكنتهم.
- After you’ve made your choice, the Google Desktop Search icon will appear in the main panel (the upper right corner of your screen). بعد أن قمت بها في اختيارك ، صور بحث سطح المكتب سوف تظهر ايقونه الرئيسية في الفريق (الركن الايمن العلوي من الشاشه).
- Right-click the Google Desktop Search icon, select Index and then Index Status … الحق صور - انقر فوق الايقونه بحث سطح المكتب ، ثم اختر مؤشر الرقم القياسي لحالة…
- From here you’ll see the status of Google Desktop Search’s first indexing. من هنا سترى مركز بحث سطح المكتب صور اول فهرسة. Click the Desktop Preferences link from the upper-right corner. انقر على وصلة تفضيلات سطح المكتب من الزاويه العليا اليمنى.
- On the Local Indexing tab you can choose the types of files that you want Google Desktop Search to make available in your searches. على علامة التبويب والفهرسه المحلية يمكنك اختيار انواع الملفات التي تريد صور بحث سطح المكتب على ان تتيح في عمليات البحث. You can also add specific folders to search if they aren’t included by default. يمكنك ايضا اضافة مجلدات محددة للبحث اذا كانت غير المدرجه افتراضيا. Or, remove the default search folders if you don’t want their contents indexed. او ازالة البحث الافتراضي المجلدات اذا كنت لا ترغب في فهرسة محتوياتها. Click the Gmail tab if you wish to include your Gmail messages in Google Desktop Search. انقر فوق علامة التبويب بريد جوجل اذا كنت ترغب في ان تدرج الرسائل الخاصة بك في بريد جوجل صور بحث سطح المكتب.
- Place a check in the box labeled Index and search email in my Gmail account , then enter your Gmail Username and Password in the spaces provided. مكان علامة في المربع الموجود المسمى الرقم القياسي لبحث والبريد الالكتروني في بلدي حساب بريد جوجل ، بريد جوجل ثم ادخل اسم المستخدم وكلمة المرور في المكان. Click Save Preferences once you’re done. انقر مرة واحدة حفظ التفضيلات الانتهاء. Select the Display tab. اختر علامة التبويب عرض.
- From here you can customize the various display options (Number of Quick Find results, Number of results per page, etc). من هنا يمكنك تخصيص عرض مختلف الخيارات (عدد من العثور على نتائج سريعه ، وعدد من نتائج في الصفحه ، الخ). Click Other when you’re done. انقر فوق الاخرى بعد الانتهاء.
- The Other tab is really just a place to enable or disable the Advanced features. علامة التبويب الاخرى في الواقع مجرد مكان لتمكين او تعطيل هذه الميزات المتقدمه. When you’re done (if you’ve made any changes) click Save Preferences and close out Firefox/your browser. وعند انتهائك من ذلك (اذا كنت قد قدمت اي تغييرات (انقر على حفظ تفضيلات واغلاق فايرفوكس / المتصفح الخاص بك.
- Tap the control (ctrl) key on your keyboard twice to bring up the Google Desktop Search window. تنصت على السيطرة (السيطرة) لوحة المفاتيح مرتين لطرح صور بحث سطح المكتب من النافذة. Enter in something.. أدخل في شيء.. (keep in mind, your index is probably still building, which means not all of your files will be searchable yet). For ubuntu amd64, I just forced the installation of the 32 bit package. لamd64 اوبونتو ، انا فقط التثبيت القسري للمجموعة 32 بت. I had previously installed all the 32 bit libraries (I needed them for skype too) and everything works great! وسبق لي ان ركبت جميع المكتبات 32 بت (ط الحاجة اليها في غاية Skype) وكل شيء على ما يرام الكبير!
For 64 bit ubuntu you need to install: 64 بت لاوبونتو عليك بتثبيت :
ia32-libs ia32-libs-gtk ia32 - libs - ia32 - libs gtk
This lets you use 32 bit google earth on your 64 bit system. وهذا يتيح لك استخدام 32 بت على الارض صور 64 بت نظام الخاص بك.

I’ve got one thing to mention: you need at least 1GB os free space for google desktop to start indexing, otherwise it will be running but nothing will be indexed انا عندي ان اذكر شيئا واحدا : انت تحتاج الى نظام تشغيل على الاقل 1 جيجابايت مساحة حرة صور لسطح المكتب للبدء في الفهرسه ، والا فانه سوف يتم تشغيل ولكن لن يتم فهرستها

been running since I saw the first digg about it yesterday. يدير منذ شاهدت أول أمس البحث بعمق عن ذلك. Still at only 0.1% indexed. لا تزال في 0،1 ٪ فقط فهرستها. Running for 20 hours and it still says it will take 5.8 idle hours… the same as when it was first installed. تشغيل لمدة 20 ساعة وانها لا تزال تقول انها سوف تتخذ 5،8 ساعة الراكد نفسه… كما انشئت فيه للمرة الأولى تركيب. I think they still have some bugs to address in this. واعتقد انها لا تزال لمعالجة بعض الخلل في هذا.
