Firefox

Menu Editor is a Firefox add-on that allows you to remove or rearrange menu items from the main context menu (right-click menu) and main menu bar (File, Edit, View..). For a brief tutorial on using Menu Editor, keep reading..

  1. Install Menu Editor the same way you would any other Firefox Add-on, and then restart Firefox. Once Firefox has restarted, select Tools and then Add-ons.

  9. Scroll through the entire list and remove each item you don’t want to show up in your right-click context menu. If you notice ‘duplicates’, it’s because there are different right-click menus (one for right-clicking an image, one for right-clicking a link, one for right-clicking an empty space etc).

  11. Now select File from the Edit menu: drop down list. From here you can remove items from the File menu.

  13. Since I never use the Work Offline feature, I opted to remove it.

  15. You shouldn’t have to restart Firefox for the changes to take effect, but if you don’t notice them right away, try restarting.

I love your SimpleHelp. Here is a related question. I’ve noticed on Google Maps that there is now the ability to draw lines and add markers. Unfortunately, those options appears in a right-click menu UNDERNEATH the standard Firefox menu. This doesn’t happen in IE.
