If you’re the only person who uses your Ubuntu-based PC and don’t want to sign in each time you turn on your computer, you can enable automatic login via the steps found in this brief tutorial. - Start by selecting System , then Administration and finally Login Window . Inizia selezionando il sistema, allora Amministrazione e infine finestra di accesso.
- Enter your password when prompted Inserisci la tua password quando richiesto
- Select the Security tab and place a check in the box labeled Enable Automatic Login . Selezionare la scheda Protezione e luogo di un controllo nella casella Abilita il login automatico. Now select the user name you want to automatically sign in when Ubuntu starts from the User: drop down list. Ora selezionare il nome utente che desideri accedere automaticamente quando parte da Ubuntu utente: menù a tendina. Click the Close button to exit out of the Login Window panel. Fare clic sul pulsante Chiudi per uscire dalla finestra di login pannello. The next time you start Ubuntu, you’ll be automatically signed in without having to enter your user name and password. Al successivo avvio di Ubuntu, ti verrà automaticamente l'accesso senza dover immettere il vostro nome utente e password.

That totally defeats all security you have enabled in Ubuntu. Che tutte le sconfitte del tutto la sicurezza è stato attivato in Ubuntu.

If it’sa single-user computer (ie. my home desktop that I don’t share with anyone) it’s really not that big of a security issue. Se si tratta di un utente singolo computer (es. casa mia scrivania che non condivido con nessuno) è veramente grande che non di un problema di protezione. Would I suggest it to someone running a laptop (ie. much more likely to get lost/stolen) - maybe not. Mi suggeriscono che a qualcuno in esecuzione di un computer portatile (ovvero molta più probabilità di trovare smarrimento / furto) - forse no. But even then - if someone has physical access to your computer, and they’re determined enough, they can get any file off of your hard drive that they want (mount your drive on their OS, using a boot disk and re-writing the password file, etc). Ma anche allora - se qualcuno ha accesso fisico al computer, e sono abbastanza determinata, possono ricevere qualsiasi file fuori del disco rigido che si desidera (montare l'unità sul loro sistema operativo, utilizzando un disco di avvio e ri-scrivere il file delle password, ecc.) Ra - it really doesn’t defeat all of the security that comes with Linux/Ubuntu. Ra - davvero non vanificare tutti che la sicurezza viene fornito con Linux / Ubuntu. If you’re enabling an automatic login for a non-root user (which lets face it, anyone following this tutorial is) - you’re only losing security in regards to someone that has physical access to your computer.
