Thanksgiving in October? Pateicības oktobrī? Whaa? Whaa? I really need to read a book on Canadian history. Man tiešām ir nepieciešams, lai lasītu grāmatu par Kanādas vēsturi.
Yeah I think at the end of the day, someone just decided to space out the 'big' holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hanukkah) a bit more. Jā es domāju, ka pie beigām dienā, kāds vienkārši nolēma kosmosa no "lielā" svētkiem (Thanksgiving un Ziemassvētku / Hanukkah), mazliet vairāk. Though from my time in both countries, I think it's pretty safe to say that Americans make a bigger deal over Thanksgiving than Canadians do. Lai gan no mana laika abās valstīs, es domāju, ka tas ir diezgan droši teikt, ka amerikāņi dara lielāka darījumu nekā par kanādiešiem Pateicības darīt. For us, it's mostly just an excuse to eat turkey and pumpkin pie. Mums, tas ir pārsvarā tikai attaisnojums ēst tītaru un ķirbju pīrāgs.
