Dit leerprogramma zal u in vestiging en het gebruiken begeleiden FireFTP - een vrije, veilige, cliënt van dwars-platformFTP voor Mozilla Firefox.
Om begonnen te worden, download en installeer FireFTP. De installatie is het zelfde als een andere Firefox addon (plugin) en zal vereisen dat u Firefox opnieuw begint alvorens het zal werken. Nadat u Firefox… opnieuw bent begonnen
- Lancering FireFTP door te selecteren Hulpmiddelen -> FireFTP.
- Het zal in een nieuwe Firefox tabel openen. Om een plaats van FTP aan FireFTP toe te voegen, selecteer Cre�ër een rekening drop-down.
- Op Belangrijkst het lusje gaat aangewezen info op de verstrekte gebieden in.
- Selecteer Verbinding het lusje en herziet enkele extra montages. Als u FireFTP een lokale omslag (een omslag op uw harde aandrijving) wilt openen telkens als een specifieke plaats wordt geopend, ga de weg aan die omslag in in Lokaal: gebied. Als u een specifieke omslag op de verre plaats van FTP wilt openen, ga de weg aan die omslag in in Ver: gebied. Wanneer u wordt gedaan, klik O.K..
- Om met de plaats te verbinden u enkel aan FireFTP toevoegde, klik Verbind knoop.
- En nu zult u binnen aan de plaats van FTP ondertekenen.
- Een dossier of een omslag (of veelvoudige dossiers en omslagen) uploaden, om hen te selecteren uit de lijst van dossiers op uw harde aandrijving, en te klikken uploadt knoop.
- Wanneer volledig is upload, zullen de dossiers en de omslagen nu op uw verre plaats van FTP verschijnen.
- Om enkele uitgezochte montages te herzien FireFTP, Hulpmiddelen -> Opties van binnen FireFTP.
- Op Algemeen lusje u wat van - u het veronderstelde - de algemene montages kunt veranderen.
- Interface het lusje staat u toe om enkele lay-out verwante montages (hoe FireFTP opent, plaatsend FireFTP als cliënt standaard van FTP voor plaatsen die via Firefox enz. worden betreden) te veranderen.
- You can also add a FireFTP to your Navigation Toolbar. Right-click anywhere in the Toolbar and select Customize….
- Drag the FireFTP icon to your Navigation Toolbar.
- And now you’ll have one-click access to FireFTP from within Firefox.

I tried using the ftp as per the instructions. But it does not connect. It shows password is blank. Tried changing the password and created other logins as well. But no help. It does not recognize the password. It shows password blank and gives error.
I am new to using FTP and web design, but I intend to start learning since I have been charged with the job. I am a retired Environmental Laboratory manager from Texas who now lives in Costa Rica. Together with some indigenous native friends, I am attempting to build a website for a foundation that we have created here (the Fundacion Universidad Indigena Bribri Cabecar - Cedula Juridica # 3-006-269804).
I have purchased a website and a web hosting service. I have a user name and password to access the server using the Firefox http://FTP. That’s about as far as I’ve gotten. I need to construct a site (using HTML I suppose, or some other page design software) … I have a very limited budget right now … does anyone have any suggestions where I should go next (free software downloads would be great).

I have been having a problem connecting to the server. It indicates that my password is not showing. I don’t know how to make this work. I had Hostgator set up the Word Press so that it would be right and there is still a problem.
What is the answer? Can anyone help?

Fire FTP is a great program to uload the files to the server. It works within Firefox, so there is no need to open a new program. You can swich tab between the local view of your web page, the FTP view of your files and the online view of the webpage, that’s great.
Thanks a lot! I’ve been having FTP problems lately, I’ve tried 3 separate FTP clients but none of them could connect to my server. Fire FTP works great though.
