Denna ska överblick förklarar hur man använder CyberDuck - en fri FTP-beställare för OS X.
- Starta, genom att nedladda CyberDuck. Öppna .dmgen sparar, när nedladdningen har avslutat, och släpar CyberDuck till ditt Applikationer mapp som installerar det. När det har installerat, barkassen det från dina applikationer.
- Klicka Öppna anslutning knäppas.
- Skriv in Server namnge i det förutsatt att utrymmet. Den kända serveren ges vanligt till dig by, whomever skapat ditt FTP-konto. Standarden Port för FTP är 21, så tjänstledighet att inställning, om inte du är säker av ditt konto är på en olik port. Skriv in nu ditt Username och Lösenord i de förutsatt att utrymmena. Igen ges dessa vanligt till dig by, whomever skapat kontot för dig. Förlägga, klicka, när all den information är in Förbind knäppas.
- Och nu ska du förbinder till din en ftp-server. Fönstret kan vara tomt, eller tomt, om du har aldrig uploaded, sparar något eller mappar.
- Rätt-klicka (ctrl-klicka för singel-knäppas musfolks), i det huvudsakliga CyberDuck fönstret och välj för att skapa en ny mapp Ny mapp…,
- Skriv in ett känt för mappen och klicka Skapa.
- CyberDuck som nu ska, skapar mappen. Dubblett-klicka mappen som är känd till `, skriver in' den mapp.
- För att upload sparar, lokaliserar dem i din upphittare, väljer de som du önskar att upload och släpar därefter dem till det huvudsakliga CyberDuck fönstret.
- När uploaden har avslutat, förnyar det ska fönstret, och ditt sparar ska listas.
- Rätt-klicka den och välj för att ta bort en spara eller en mapp Borttagnings från den pop-up menyn. Du kan också byta namn på sparar hitåt (valt Byt namn på…,) Etc.
- If you want to save the FTP server information (so you don’t have to enter it every time you want to connect to it) - click the Bookmarks button.
- From the Bookmarks pane, click the small + (plus sign) at the bottom.
- And the FTP site will be saved to your CyberDuck bookmarks.

Does cyberduck only upload the new or changed pages like the w2w system you mention in your other article?

i’ve made a website in iweb, then uploaded it to cyberduck - then im trying to delete the public_html file coz i want to replace it with a new iweb site i’ve made (just some tweeks) but it wont let me delete the contents of public_html when I try. any ideas?!

Re: instructions, it says here “Enter the Server name in the space provided. The server name is usually provided to you by whomever created your FTP account.” If a third party has not created an FTP account as suggested, how does one get a server name?

The directions are too advanced, assuming prior knowledge
I have been trying to upload a page I made in iWeb. It doesn’t work. The page is saved as a folder. That wouldn’t upload. I selected all the file contents. That wouldn’t upload.
I like the idea of Open Source. It’s very nice. But for us novices, maybe a bought application would be better. Open isn’t very open if one can’t get in.
I will donate as soon as it works.
