Ross, check your CPU usage: that Google gadget-converted-widget chews up CPU time, even when Dashboard is hidden. Ross, sjekk din CPU-bruken: at Google gadget-konvertert-widget tygger opp CPU tid, selv når Dashboard er skjult. Not impressive. Ikke imponerende.
@Roget – This is true. @ Roget - Dette er sant. The couple of gadgets that I've left installed, do take up some CPU. De par av gadgets som jeg har forlatt installert, tar opp noen CPU. But less than Firefox does even when it's idling. Men mindre enn Firefox, selv når den er på tomgang.
We have had the google desktop gadgets sidebar for some time, incorporating the clock, local weather, pictures and news. We were away on holiday for a couple of weeks and now we find that the news doesn't work – it just says 'Loading'.
