However, I was able to rip an entire DVD, using MacTheRipper 3.0 R14, without having it installed (??). Seems kinda odd that unlocked share ware is available for free. Schijnt nogal vreemd dat ontsloten aandeel ware is gratis beschikbaar. What's the chance this copy in the wild is trojan ware? Wat is de kans dit exemplaar in het wild is trojan ware?

Very, very, very unlikely. Zeer, zeer, zeer onwaarschijnlijk. The post was in the official forums, which the author is a member of/moderates/admins. De post werd in de officiële fora, waarin de auteur is lid van / gematigden / admins. He/she wouldn't have let this stay on the forums if it was infected with anything. Hij / zij niet zou hebben laten dit verblijf op het forum al was besmet met alles. Plus I've used a scanner to check my Mac since installing that software and found nothing. Plus ik heb gebruikt een scanner om mijn Mac te controleren, aangezien het installeren van die software en niets gevonden. I'm fairly sure it's free because it's beta. Ik ben vrij zeker dat het is gratis omdat het beta.

I've downloaded MacTheRipper3R14.sitx but I can't open the file…it's a binary file and I'm not sure which application I should use to open it? So the latest version of MTR is almost exactly a year old and is some variant of shareware? Dus de laatste versie van de MTR is bijna precies een jaar oud en is een variant van shareware? From what I hear, MTR is a dead product. Van wat ik hoor, MTR is een dode product. There are numerous complaints about how it doesn't work with most of the newer 'bad sector' type disks. Er zijn tal van klachten over hoe het niet werkt met de meeste van de nieuwere 'slechte sector' type schijven. And the 'donate' to receive a copy is suspicious as no price is listed and there is no easy way to get the software. En de 'doneren' om een kopie te ontvangen is verdacht als er geen prijs wordt vermeld en er is geen gemakkelijke manier om de software te krijgen. Stay away from this thing. Blijf weg van dit ding. There are several newer rippers out there that are actually supported by professionals so go with them!!! Er zijn verschillende nieuwere rippers daar die daadwerkelijk worden ondersteund door professionals dus ga met hen!
@SolidBob – several newe rippers like what exactly ? @ SolidBob - meerdere Newe rippers als wat precies? Was it too difficult to name few of those while you were writing the rest of your post? Was het te moeilijk te weinig van die naam, terwijl je de rest van je post schreven?
