Het gebruiken van de absoluut fantastische software Vloeistof, kunt u om het even welke Webtoepassing (Gmail, Facebook, de Melk, Google Lezer, Google Analytics - de lijst is eindeloos) op zijn in werking stellen - als zijn eigen toepassing herinneren. De voordelen om deze manier te werken zijn talrijk - als één app verplettert, zal het hen allen niet verlagen (d.w.z. regelmatige browser). U kunt kortere weg aan specifieke app/plaats in uw Dok of omslag van Toepassingen (of allebei) tot stand brengen. Dit korte leerprogramma, dat ook een „inleiding aan Vloeistof“ kon worden genoemd - zal u de samenvatting van het gebruiken van het, het vormen van en het gebruiken van zijn plugins en meer geven.
- Om begonnen te worden, download en installeer Vloeistof. De installatie is zo eenvoudig zoals openritsend het dossier en slepend het aan uw Toepassingen. De Vloeistof van de lancering van daar.
- Van hier zal u worden ertoe aangezet om uw eerste Vloeibare app tot stand te brengen - die bijna moeizaam gemakkelijk is. Ga in URL van de plaats wilt u app voor tot stand brengen. In dit voorbeeld zal ik Gmail gebruiken. Zo is het adres https://mail.google.com/mail/
Naam Ik heb ben Gmail - maar u kunt het om het even wat natuurlijk noemen u wilt - E-mail, Post, Google Post enz. gebruikt. Plaats verwijst naar waar u wilt dat app worden tot stand gebracht. Het gebrek, Toepassingen is perfect.
- U kunt de websites favicon als gebruiken Pictogram voor uw app, maar alvorens u dat doet, kunt u enkele fantastisch werk willen controleren wordt gedeeld dat bij http://www.flickr.com/groups/fluid_icons/pool/. In die pool Flickr zult u dozens kwaliteitsPNG- dossiers om als pictogrammen vinden te gebruiken. Zo greep ik een pictogram Gmail van die pool, en dat is wat ik aan gebruik heb geopteerd. Om het gebrek te veranderen klik Pictogram pull-down menu en uitgezocht Andere…. Dan navigeer aan het beeld u het gebruiken en wilt selecteren.
- Nu u wordt gedaan, klik Cre�ër.
- Een paar seconden later zal u met a worden veroorzaakt Succes! venster. Van hier kunt u app direct lanceren door te klikken Lancering nu of u kunt klikken Openbaar in Vinder.
- En er zijn uw nieuwe Vloeibare app - Gmail.app - in Vinder. Double-click it to launch Gmail.

- If you right-click (ctrl-click for single button mouse folks) anywhere in the background, you’ll be presented with the a few options - Back being the one that comes in handy most often.
- With Gmail - you get an added extra bonus of having the icon display your new unread emails via the Dock icon.
- And as with all (almost all) OS X apps, you can right-click (ctrl-click) the Dock icon and select Keep in Dock if you’d like to have it handy all the time.
- Fluid comes with a couple of plugins enabled by default. They are Clipboard and Thumbnail - both of which are incredibly handy.
When you have a Fluid app up and running, select the Plugin menu bar item (it’s the one that looks like a piece of Lego - see the screenshot below).
With Clipboard Plug-in selected a side window will appear. You can drag and drop pictures, URLs and selected text into this clipboard for re-use/temporary saving.
- If you select the Thumbnail Plug-in you’ll be presented with a very cool “Cover Flow” view of all the links on the page you’re currently viewing in your Fluid app.
- If you select the Thumbnail button from the bottom left corner, the view will switch from Cover Flow to Thumbnails.
- Another outstanding feature of Fluid is that Greasekit is built in - so any of your favorite Greasemonkey scripts for Gmail etc should work just fine (my favorite, Folders4Gmail+Folders2Top works perfectly.
