Everything works great, but when I try to install the drivers with the Leopard DVD, when i insert the disc, nothing happens and it CONTINUOSLY ejects it automatically after a few seconds of trying to read it. I am upgrading the Hard Disk of a macbook pro with dual Leopard/Vista. Som modernizácia pevný disk s MacBook Pro s dual Leopard / Vista.
I did a complete PC backup (of the windows partition only, of course) using Vista's utilities. Urobil som kompletnú zálohu PC (z okien delenie len, samozrejme) pomocou utility Vista.
I put the larger disk in, Installed Leopard and fully recovered my OSx partition using Time Machine Dal som väčší disk, Inštalované Leopard a využitý moje OSX oddiel pomocou Time Machine
The Vista recovery need you to boot from the original installation DVD and do a repair instead of sn install. Využitie Vista potrebovať až k topánka z pôvodného inštalačného DVD, a to opravu namiesto sn nainštalovať. The repair asks for the backup DVD, but there is no way, apparently, to eject the installation DVD to insert the backup DVD and proceed. Oprava žiada o zálohovaní DVD, ale nie je tam žiadny spôsob, zrejme, aby vysunúť instalační DVD pre vloženie zálohovanie DVD a pokračujte. Any ideas? Any ideas?

Little problem with my install though – it seems I get the same error screens and the space taken up by expanding files during install (up to 15G) is still taken up when I finish – ie I have just under 5G left on a 20G hard drive when I finish?!! This was very nice to have along side the Apple Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide during my first Boot Camp install (new aluminum macbook pro, Leopard 10.5.5, with latest Boot Camp). I can get as far as actually being able to run Vista, but when I try to run the OS X disc, the only thing it does is try to connect my MacBook Air to the internet… I don't have a MacBook Air. I don't know exactly what you mean, but when you insert the Leopard-DVD, you have to go to 'Computer' in Vista, then right-click the DVD, and then choose Explore. Neviem presne, čo myslíš, ale keď vložíte Leopard-DVD, budete musieť ísť do 'Computer' vo Vista, kliknite pravým tlačidlom myši na DVD-a potom vyberte položku Preskúmať. Then go to the folder called Boot Camp and run setup.exe. Potom prejdite do priečinka s názvom Boot Camp a spustite súbor setup.exe.

when you restart after installing the bootcamp drivers… take note to hold teh option key and reboot to win.. Pri reštartovaní po inštalácii ovládačov ... bootcamp berú na vedomie, držať klávesu Option a reštartovať vyhrať .. i just allowed a restart and then my mac got stuck in a loop of reading the disk, trying to load mac os and flashing a question mark. já spravodlivý povolené reštartovať a potom mi mac zasekol v slučke čítanie disku, pri pokuse o načítanie Mac OS a blikajúci otáznik.

I encountered only one problem which was related to ejecting the dvd under the Vista installation. Som sa stretla len jeden problém, ktorý súvisel s vysunutie dvd pri inštalácii Vista. I just shut down and restarted and it restarted under Vista which let me eject the DVD then. Jednoducho vypnúť a znova a znova vo Windows Vista, ktoré mi dovoľte vysunutie DVD potom.

So I get the same error at partition, and tried disk utility and onyx. Tak som si rovnakú chybou pri delení, a snažil sa disk utility a onyx. Still no joy. Stále žiadna radosť. I am nervous to defrag or reinstall the OS. Som nervózny, že klame alebo preinštalovať OS. Is it possible to Partition the HD by booting from the OSX DVD, format the new partionion with FAT then run Boot Camp? My partition hung for about 2 hours the first time I tried (I had repaired disk permissions prior to this). Môj oddiel visel asi 2 hodiny po prvýkrát, čo som sa snažil (Musel som opraviť disk oprávnenie pred touto). I closed my computer and went to bed. Zavrel som počítač a išiel spať. The next morning I repaired disk permissions again, using first Disk Utility and then Onyx, and then tried again: the partition took about 5 minutes. Druhý deň ráno som opravil disk oprávnenie znova, s použitím prvého Disk Utility a potom Onyx, a potom sa pokúsil znova: oddiel trvalo asi 5 minút.
One thing I would add is that if you cancel the partition process, it will look like the hard drive space you've allocated for Windows has “disappeared”. Jednu vec by som dodal, že ak zrušíte rozdelenie procesu, bude to vyzerať, ako na pevnom disku máte pridelené pre Windows "zmizol". Use Boot Camp itself to reformat and recover this “lost” space (the option will present itself when you open boot camp after the cancelled partition), and then start over again. Použite Boot Camp sám preformátovať a obnoviť tejto "stratené" priestor (možnosť vyjde po otvorení výcvikového tábora po zrušení partition), a potom začať znova.

i got stuck on #13, after formatting an error saying at least 6000 something MB had to be available and there were at least 5GB available. aj zasekol na # 13, po formátovania chybové hlásenie, že aspoň niečo, 6000 MB musel byť k dispozícii, a tam boli aspoň 5GB k dispozícii. I tried to format again and still the same error so I quit the install. Snažil som sa znova formáte a stále rovnaká chyba, takže som prestal instalovat. Now… I can't get back to the mac part and it shows a screen saying something about no bootable drive, please install disk. Teraz ... I can't get back to mac časť a to ukazuje obrazovku hovoril niečo o žiadne bootovací disk, nainštalujte si prosím disk.

After I partition and it restarts to install Vista it just sits there with a black screen and a small white line flashing in the upper left hand corner. Hello, this is a note for anyone who finds/ has found themselves in my situation. Dobrý deň, to je poznámka pre každého, kto nájde / sa ocitli v mojej situácii. Long story short: tried the whole bootcamp palava, ended up installing Vista over OSX like a dummy. Long story short: snažil celý bootcamp Palava, skončil po inštalácii OS Vista ako figuríny. ANYWHO, in order to wipe window$ and reinstall appl£, put the installation dvd in, restart the computer and hold the C button at start up to run the dvd so you can henceforth and forthwith wipe the HD and reinstall OSX. Anywho, aby bolo možné vymazať a opätovne nainštalovať okno $ appl £, vložte inštalačné DVD v, reštartujte počítač a držte tlačidlo C na začiatku až po spustení DVD, takže môžete aj naďalej ihneď utrite HD a preinštalovať OS.

I went through the same problems as you did: my Snow Leopard was not able to partition the drive (ARDAgent error). Prešiel som rovnaké problémy ako ty: moje Snow Leopard nebol schopný oddielu disku (ARDAgent chyba). I had to wipe the HD clean and then fresh install everythign. Musel som zmazať HD čistá a potom čerstvý dosadiť everythign. Installing XP (I did not do Vista) was a breeze. Inštalácia XP (neurobil som Vista) bola hračka. Now I am restoring from my Time Machine. Teraz som obnovenie od môjho Time Machine. Thanks a lot for this super guide. Díky moc za tento super návod.
