To remove the old Google entry (and make the new one the default) select the arrow next to the new Google icon and choose Manage Search Engines… from the list. Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Wow, das war viel einfacher als ich dachte, es wäre. I hadn’t heard of that plugin before either, thanks!! Ich habe nicht gehört, dass vor dem Plugin entweder dank!
After installing the extension, finding out it is NOT compatible with 3.0RC1, enabling Nightly Tester Tools, forcing compatibility…. Nach der Installation der Erweiterung, herauszufinden, es ist nicht kompatibel mit 3.0rc1, so dass Nightly Tester Tools, zwingt Kompatibilität…. The option to Add to Search Bar is not present. Die Option zum Hinzufügen zur Suche Bar ist nicht vorhanden.

Admittedly I did the install on FF 3B5, but assumed (I know) that since the addon page said “Firefox: 2.0 – 3.0.*” that included RC1. Zwar habe ich die Installation auf FF 3B5, aber davon auszugehen, (ich weiß), da das Addon Seite sagte: "Firefox: 2,0 - 3,0 .*" enthalten, dass RC1. Sorry about that. Sorry about that.
There is the possibility that there’sa conflict with another extension of course… Es besteht die Möglichkeit, daß es gibt einen Konflikt mit einer anderen Endung natürlich…
I finally edited the XML file in the searchplugins and changed the icon there. Ich schließlich bearbeitet die XML-Datei in das searchplugins und verändert das Symbol. But you have to convert the file to hex code and that was a process I’m still not quite sure how I did (it involved a commandline on Linux).. Aber Sie haben, um die Datei auf der Hex-Code und das war ein Prozess, ich bin noch nicht ganz sicher, wie ich (er mit einem auf Linux-Kommandozeile) .. Would be nice if firefox accepted a URL for the search icon in the xml file. Wäre schön, wenn firefox akzeptiert eine URL für die Suche Symbol in der XML-Datei.

Imho the REAL interesting thing is how to NOT get the sh*** icon in my firefox and get the old one back. IMHO The Real interessante Sache ist, wie man nicht den sh *** Symbol in meinem firefox und holen Sie sich die alten zurück.
The vast majority of users disagrees on the new icon for what i read on the blogs. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Nutzer nicht einverstanden ist über die neue Symbol für das, was ich lese in der Blogs.

Te installation worked very well. Te Installation funktioniert sehr gut.
There’s just one thing: with the new search bar I don’t get the automatic suggestions anymore. Es gibt nur eine Sache: Mit dem neuen Suchleiste ich nicht kapiere, die automatische Vorschläge mehr.
