How to make Leopard look more like iTunes 7

Using the iLeopard theme, you can make Leopard (OS X 10.5) look and feel more like iTunes 7. Continue reading for installation help, screenshots, and how to uninstall if you’re not thrilled.

  1. The installation is relatively straight-forward. Just download the package, unzip it and run the installer. During the installation you’ll be asked exactly what you want to install. Make sure Easy system install and Resources are selected, and carry on.

  3. Towards the end of the installation you’ll be warned that you’re going to have to close all open programs and log out when it’s complete. You might as well start closing those programs now.

  5. When you finish the installation you’re presented with just one option – Logout. So save any open work, close down your programs, and click the button. Logout isn’t the same as restart, so you’ll be back to your OS X desktop in no time at all.

  7. One of the first things you might notice is that the default “blue” highlighting has changed to a “iTunes’ish” gray.
  8. Scroll bars and column names will also switch to have an iTunes feel.
  9. Though not all programs will be altered, Safari will.

  11. If you decide iLeopard is not for you, run the installer again, and this time only select Uninstall.
