Cover Stream Cover Stream is an interesting little app that allows you to control iTunes – with very pretty interface, without having to leave your currently open program. ir interesants maz app, kas ļauj kontrolēt iTunes - ar ļoti skaists interfeiss, bez atstāt savu pašlaik atvērto programmu. Though I'm somewhat partial to using Quicksilver for everything iTunes-control-related, Cover Stream is without question much more visually appealing. 1. The Cover Stream installation is about as straight forward as it gets – unzip the file and drag the application to your Applications folder. Cover Stream instalācija ir apmēram tikpat taisni uz priekšu, jo tā izpaužas - Atarhivējiet failu un velciet piemērošanu jūsu Applications mapi. Before you start using Cover Stream, take a look at some of the preferences. Pirms sākat izmantot Cover Stream, veikt apskatīt dažas vēlmes. To do so, select Cover Stream from the menu bar, and then Preferences… from the drop-down list. Lai to izdarītu, izvēlieties Cover Stream no izvēlņu joslu, un tad Preferences ... no nolaižamā saraksta.

   On the General tab you can set options such as Launch at login, Launch when iTunes opens etc. Uz cilnes Vispārīgi var iestatīt opcijas, piemēram, palaišanas laikā login, palaišanas, kad iTunes atveras uc

2. After you've set the General preferences to your liking, click the Browser tab. Pēc tam, kad esat iestatījis General preferences jūsu patikas, noklikšķiniet Browser tab. If you frequently add/remove songs to iTunes, you may want to place a check in the Sync with iTunes at startup box. Ja bieži pievienot / noņemt dziesmas iTunes, Jūs varat izvietot pārbaudi Sinhronizācija ar iTunes, startējot lodziņā.

3. Now select the Visuals tab. Tagad izvēlieties Visuals tab. You may not want to make any changes until you're familiar with the program, but give them a quick review so you know what you can change after you've used it for a while. 4. The Hotkeys tab is one of the more important ones. Hotkeys cilne ir viens no svarīgāka ones. Because Cover Stream is intended to allow you to control iTunes without having to leave your current application, hotkeys are an important part of this process. Jo Cover Stream ir paredzēta, lai jūs varētu kontrolēt iTunes bez pamest savu pašreizējo pieteikuma hotkeys ir svarīga šī procesa daļa. Set the shortcuts to whatever you want (or review the defaults and decide if they'll work for you). Uzstādīt īsceļus, lai neatkarīgi vēlaties (vai pārskatīt nepildīšanas un lemj, vai tie būs darbs jums).

   The remaining tabs (Last FM, Remote and Update) are pretty straight forward. Pārējās cilnes (Last FM, Remote un Update) ir diezgan taisni uz priekšu. If you're a Last FM user, and don't scrobble your songs using another app, you can enter your info on that tab. Ja jūs esat Last FM lietotājs, un nav scrobble jūsu dziesmas, izmantojot citu app, jūs varat ievadīt savu info šajā cilnē.

5. One of the main features of Cover Stream is the mini-player/Desk Art. Viena no galvenajām iezīmēm Cover Stream ir mini-player/Desk Art. By default, it will show up in the bottom left corner of your desktop. Pēc noklusējuma, tā parādīsies kreisajā apakšējā stūrī darbvirsmas.



6. When you mouse-over the Desk Art section, a mini-player will appear. Kad jūs mouse-over Desk Art sadaļā, mini-atskaņotājs parādīsies. From here you can control some of the iTunes features – Play/Pause, Next Track, Previous Track etc. No šejienes jūs varat kontrolēt dažas no iTunes iezīmēm - Play / Pause, Next Track, Previous Track uc



7. To bring up the main Cover Stream window, use the (default) keyboard combo of alt + Apple Key + F8 . Lai atvērtu galveno Cover Stream logā, izmantojiet (default) Keyboard Combo ar alt + Apple taustiņš + F8. Use the left and right arrow keys to move through your iTunes library. Izmantojiet kreiso un labo bultiņu taustiņus, lai pārvietotos pa jūsu iTunes bibliotēku.

8. When you've found an album you want to listen to, hit enter . Kad esat atrasti albumu, kuru vēlaties klausīties, hit enter. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to the track you want to play, and again hit enter . Lietojiet augšup un lejup bulttaustiņus, lai virzītos uz sliežu ceļu, kuru vēlaties atskaņot, un atkal hit enter.

9. You can also access a number of the Cover Stream features from the Apple menu icon. Jūs varat piekļūt arī vairāki Cover Stream funkcijas no Apple izvēlnes ikonu.

One bug (or intentionally strange “feature”) – if you change songs using any method other than Cover Stream (iTunes itself, Quicksilver etc) – the 'desktop player' remains stuck at whatever previous song was playing. Viens bug (vai apzināti dīvainu "īpašība") - ja maināt dziesmas, izmantojot jebkuru paņēmienu, izņemot Cover Stream (iTunes pats, Quicksilver uc) - 'Desktop Player "joprojām iestrēdzis pie kāda iepriekšējo dziesmu spēlēja.

All in all I don't think I'll be purchasing Cover Stream, but it may be the ideal solution for you. Visā visumā es nedomāju, ka es būšu iepirkumu Cover Stream, bet tas var būt ideāls risinājums. And it sure is pretty. Un tas pārliecināts ir diezgan.
