Cover Stream Cover Stream is an interesting little app that allows you to control iTunes – with very pretty interface, without having to leave your currently open program. Je zaujímavé malé aplikácie, ktorá umožňuje ovládanie iTunes - s veľmi pekné rozhranie, bez toho aby museli opustiť svoju aktuálne otvoreného programu. Though I'm somewhat partial to using Quicksilver for everything iTunes-control-related, Cover Stream is without question much more visually appealing. I keď som trochu čiastkové na používanie Quicksilver za všetko iTunes-control-príbuzný, Cover Stream je nepochybne oveľa viac vizuálne príťažlivý. The drawback? Nevýhoda? It's not free. Nie je to zadarmo. Cover Stream costs €14.95 EUR, which comes out to about $23.77 USD (at the time this was published). BUT, it does come with a lifetime of free updates, and there is a fully-functional (time limited) demo available for you to try out. 1. The Cover Stream installation is about as straight forward as it gets – unzip the file and drag the application to your Applications folder. Cover Stream inštalácia je asi tak priamočiara, ako to dostane - rozbaľte archív a pretiahnite aplikácií do zložky Aplikácie. Before you start using Cover Stream, take a look at some of the preferences. Než začnete Cover Stream, pozrite sa na niektoré z preferencií. To do so, select Cover Stream from the menu bar, and then Preferences… from the drop-down list. Ak chcete tak urobiť, vyberte Cover Stream z menu, a potom Nastavenia ... z drop-dole farebný pruh.

   On the General tab you can set options such as Launch at login, Launch when iTunes opens etc. Na karte Všeobecné môžete nastaviť možnosti, ako je spustenie pri prihlásení, pri spustení sa otvorí iTunes atď

2. After you've set the General preferences to your liking, click the Browser tab. Potom, čo ste nastavili generálny preferencie chuti, kliknite na kartu Browser. If you frequently add/remove songs to iTunes, you may want to place a check in the Sync with iTunes at startup box. Ak často pridať / odobrať skladieb do iTunes, môžete umiestniť kontrole synchronizácia s iTunes na štarte poľa.

3. Now select the Visuals tab. Teraz vyberte záložku Obrázky. You may not want to make any changes until you're familiar with the program, but give them a quick review so you know what you can change after you've used it for a while. Možno nebudete chcieť vykonávať žiadne zmeny, kým ste oboznámení s programom, ale dať im rýchly preskúmanie, takže viete, čo môžete zmeniť po tom, čo ste použili to na chvíľu.

4. The Hotkeys tab is one of the more important ones. Klávesové skratky Karta je jedným z najdôležitejších z nich. Because Cover Stream is intended to allow you to control iTunes without having to leave your current application, hotkeys are an important part of this process. Vzhľadom k tomu, Cover Stream je určený k vám umožní ovládať iTunes, bez toho aby museli opustiť svoju súčasnú aplikácií, klávesové skratky sú dôležitou súčasťou tohto procesu. Set the shortcuts to whatever you want (or review the defaults and decide if they'll work for you). Nastaviť klávesové skratky na čokoľvek chcete (alebo východiskové revízie a rozhodnú, či bude pracovať pre vás).

   The remaining tabs (Last FM, Remote and Update) are pretty straight forward. Zvyšné karty (Posledných FM, diaľkové a aktualizácie) sú pekne rovno vpred. If you're a Last FM user, and don't scrobble your songs using another app, you can enter your info on that tab. Ak ste Last FM užívateľa, a nemajú scrobble vaše piesne pomocou ďalšie aplikácie, môžete zadať informácie o danej karte.

5. One of the main features of Cover Stream is the mini-player/Desk Art. Jedným z hlavných rysov Cover Stream je mini-player/Desk Čl. By default, it will show up in the bottom left corner of your desktop. V predvolenom nastavení, zobrazí sa v ľavom dolnom rohu pracovnej plochy.



6. When you mouse-over the Desk Art section, a mini-player will appear. Keď mouse-over sekcie recepcii umenia, mini-player objaví. From here you can control some of the iTunes features – Play/Pause, Next Track, Previous Track etc. Odtiaľ sa môžete ovládať niektoré funkcie iTunes - Play / Pause, Next Track, Previous Track, atď



7. To bring up the main Cover Stream window, use the (default) keyboard combo of alt + Apple Key + F8 . Vyvolajte hlavné Cover Stream okná, použitie (predvolené) klávesnica combo alt + Apple + F8. Use the left and right arrow keys to move through your iTunes library. Použite ľavej a pravej šípky pre pohyb po knižnici iTunes.

8. When you've found an album you want to listen to, hit enter . Keď ste narazili na album, ktoré chcete počúvať, stlačte kláves Enter. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to the track you want to play, and again hit enter . Použite šípky hore a dole klávesami navigovať na stopu, ktorú chcete hrať, a opäť stlačte tlačidlo Enter.

9. You can also access a number of the Cover Stream features from the Apple menu icon. Môžete tiež prístup k množstvu funkcií Cover Stream z ikony menu Apple.

One bug (or intentionally strange “feature”) – if you change songs using any method other than Cover Stream (iTunes itself, Quicksilver etc) – the 'desktop player' remains stuck at whatever previous song was playing. Jednu chybu (alebo zámerne podivná "feature") - ak zmeníte piesne akýmkoľvek spôsobom, ako Cover Stream (iTunes sám, Quicksilver, atď) - 'stolný prehrávač' zostáva uväznených na akékoľvek predchádzajúcu skladbu hral.

All in all I don't think I'll be purchasing Cover Stream, but it may be the ideal solution for you. All in all Nechcem think I'll be nákup Cover Stream, ale môže to byť ideálne riešenie pre Vás. And it sure is pretty. A to je celkom istý.
