  1.   3. To change the default installation location, click the folder button and navigate to the folder you want to install the BitNami WordPress Stack in. The default is fine. This user name will be the default administrative user – so opting for something like admin isn'ta bad idea.   5. Give your blog a name. Piešķiriet savam emuāram nosaukumu. Since I'll be using mine as a development environment for Simple Help, I gave it the creative name of “Simple Help Dev Blog”.   7. Now sit back and watch as the BitNami WordPress Stack installs itself. Tagad sēdēt un skatīties, kā BitNami WordPress skursteni instalē pati. It can take a few minutes, depending on the speed of your computer etc. You might want to grab a cup of coffee, but don't go too far.   8. If you have Vista's Firewall enabled, you'll be prompted to Keep Blocking or Unblock mysqld. Ja jums ir Vista Firewall iespējota, jums tiks piedāvāts Keep bloķēšana vai Atbloķēt mysqld. Click Unblock . Click Atbloķēt. If you have another Firewall installed, make sure to unblock mysqld. Ja jums ir citas Firewall uzstādītas, pārliecinieties, ka atbloķēt mysqld.

  9. And a minute or two later, you'll be prompted with the same message, but this time for Apache. Un minūti vai divas vēlāk, jums tiks piedāvāts ar pašu ziņu, bet šoreiz par Apache. Again, click Unblock . Vēlreiz, noklikšķiniet uz Atbloķēt. And the same holds true if you're using another Firewall – make sure Apache is unblocked/allowed. Un pats, ja jūs izmantojat citu ugunsmūri - pārliecinieties, ka Apache ir atbloķēts / atļauta.

  10. Towards the end of the installation, it may appear as though BitNami has “stalled”. Ceļā uz beigām, iekārtas, tā var parādīties it kā BitNami ir "apstājies". It hasn't, just give it another minute or two…. Tā nav, vienkārši dot to vēl minūti vai divas ....

  13. Your brand new WordPress blog will appear! Jūsu jaunā WordPress blogā parādīsies! Use the Login link in the bottom of the right-column to sign in to WordPress (or just add wp-admin/ to the end of the URL in the address bar). If you opted to install PhpMyAdmin as a part of the BitNami WordPress Stack, you can access it by loading the page Ja jūs izvēlējies instalēt PhpMyAdmin kā daļu no BitNami WordPress skursteni, jūs varat piekļūt, ielādējot lapu http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin . . The default user name is administrator and the password is the same one you set for WordPress (in step #4).     The details are very useful. Informācija ir ļoti noderīga. I am still at dark about how I can host a domain like “the-geek.in” locally ? Es esmu vēl ir tumšs par to, kā es varu uzņēmējas domēna, piemēram, "-geek.in" lokāli? how to make my local-hosted Wordpress blog accessible outside ? kā padarīt mana vietējo hosted WordPress blog pieejams ārpus?

    the geek, if you want to do that i would edit the windows hosts file so the-geek.in resloves to 127.0.0.1 geek, ja jūs gribat darīt, ka es rediģēt logi hosts failu, lai, geek.in resloves uz 127.0.0.1

    Yeah there was two steps skipped or missed. Yeah notika divos posmos izlaidis vai nokavēta. I get asked about Ports and then told that either I'm not allowed or they are “in use”. Man jautāja par ostām, gan pēc tam paziņoja, ka vai nu es neesmu atļauts vai tie ir "in use". I'm not a networking geek, so I'm not entirely sure how to resolve this since the defaults are not working. Es neesmu tīkla geek, tāpēc es neesmu pilnīgi pārliecināts, kā atrisināt šo, jo nepildīšana nedarbojas.

    I just want to be able to edit Worpress (and other) PHP themes on my laptop rather then require a full other install on my host server. Es tikai vēlos, lai varētu rediģēt Worpress (un citu) PHP tēmu par manu portatīvo datoru, nevis pēc tam pieprasīt pilnu citu instalēt uz mana resursserveris.

    thanks for the tutorial,it is working in my pc…however,do i need to be online to change themes etc…bec if i am offline, themes are not showing on the browser… Paldies par pamācību, tas strādā mana pc ... tomēr, man jābūt tiešsaistē, lai mainītu tēmas utt ... bec ja esmu offline, tēmas neparādās pārlūka ...
