Denna resumé ska take som du till och med kliver krävt för att installera WordPress - och alla dess beroenden (Apache, PHP och MySQL) - i den Windows utsikten, genom att använda den fantastiska öppna källprogramvaran BitNami WordPress bunt.
Lite bakgrund: BitNami buntar är fullständigt självständiga och störer därför inte med någon programvara som redan ar installerad på ditt system. Till exempel kan du förbättra ditt systems MySQL eller Apache utan skräck av att bryta din BitNami WordPress bunt. Om du har Apache redan att installeras, versionen som installerar med BitNami som ska för att inte störa med den.
Fast denna tutorial täcker installation av WordPress i utsikt, är BitNami WordPress buntar också tillgängliga för Linux, macen x86, macen PPC, Solaris x86 och Solaris SPARC.
- Att få startat, huvud över till BitNami WordPress bunt söka och nedladda ”den fulla bunten” för Windows (om 39.1MB för WordPress 2.6). Kör installationen sparar, när nedladdningen har avslutat.
Klicka Därefter att börja.
- Avgör, om du önskar att inkludera PhpMyAdmin som en del av din installation (varför inte) och att lämna den kontrollerad, om du. Klicka Därefter att fortsätta.
- För att ändra standardinstallationsläget, att klicka mappen knäppas och navigera till mappen som du önskar att installera den BitNami WordPress bunten in. Standarden är boten. Klicka, igen Därefter att fortsätta.
- Skriv in den kända användaren och lösenordet som du önskar att använda för WordPress. Detta ska känt för användare är den administrativa användaren för standard - så opting för något något liknande admin inte är en dåligaidé. Skriv in därefter din riktigt namn, och e-posten tilltalar i deras respektive utrymmen. Klicka, Yet igen Därefter.
- Ge din blog ett känt. Sedan jag ska, använder bryter som en utvecklingsmiljö för enkel hjälp, mig gav den som det idérikt namnger av ”enkel hjälpbärare Blog”. Ditt Hostname ska fylls in för dig. Du ska önskar troligen att lämna detta ensamt. Du gissade det - klicka Därefter.
- En sista gång - jag lovar - klickar Därefter.
- Sitt nu tillbaka och klockan, som den BitNami WordPress bunten installerar sig. Det kan ta några noterar, beroende av som rusas av din dator Etc. Du styrkan önskar till hastigt grepp en kupa av kaffe, men går inte för långt.
- If you have Vista’s Firewall enabled, you’ll be prompted to Keep Blocking or Unblock mysqld. Click Unblock. If you have another Firewall installed, make sure to unblock mysqld.
- And a minute or two later, you’ll be prompted with the same message, but this time for Apache. Again, click Unblock. And the same holds true if you’re using another Firewall - make sure Apache is unblocked/allowed.
- Towards the end of the installation, it may appear as though BitNami has “stalled”. It hasn’t, just give it another minute or two….
- and it will finish. Leave Launch BitNami WordPress Stack checked, and click Finish.
- Your default browser will launch and open and load the BitNami Welcome screen. Click the Access BitNami WordPress Stack link.
- Your brand new WordPress blog will appear! Use the Login link in the bottom of the right-column to sign in to WordPress (or just add wp-admin/ to the end of the URL in the address bar).
- Sign in with the user name and password you created way back in step #4
- After signing in, you’ll be at the WordPress Dashboard. From here you can write a new page, post, etc.

- If you opted to install PhpMyAdmin as a part of the BitNami WordPress Stack, you can access it by loading the page http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin. The default user name is administrator and the password is the same one you set for WordPress (in step #4). If you’re using your newly installed WordPress as a development environment, you can use PhpMyAdmin to import your existing WordPress database. If you’d rather use MySQL directly, the administrative login is root and the password is the same as your WordPress pass. The non-root account used to access the database is named bitnami, and its password is bitnami as well.

I was wondering what you put into the ‘APACHE WEB SERVER PORT’ area.

Yeah there was two steps skipped or missed. I get asked about Ports and then told that either I’m not allowed or they are “in use”. I’m not a networking geek, so I’m not entirely sure how to resolve this since the defaults are not working.
I just want to be able to edit Worpress (and other) PHP themes on my laptop rather then require a full other install on my host server.
