if i jailbreak, will it take away the progress of my apps, for example. i play mafia live, will it take away the progress? i have it on the computer too so i could care less i just have some other apps like iknights and others that arent on the computer so will i lose the progress?

I used the method above to jailbreak my ipod touch and it all worked fine at first. Itunes then updated automatically to Firmware 2.1 and then Cydia disappeared! Does anybody know how I get it back? I tried downloading it from my ipod but it doesnt work. I went through the whole process again to try to get it back but Cydia still doesn’t appear…

Wow…….It looks like its definitely not worth it to try and JAILBREAK your device.. I’m looking at the comments and it seems like many have done more harm to their device than good

ok new problem i do everything correctly and i get an error code when i try to restore with the custom restore and thats when i get the error code, an unexpected error has occurred (1600) it says, whats up

dont know what to do every time I choose a firmware version Pwnage Tool says its the wrong version, The version i have is 2.0, and I have downgraded to 2.0 and am trying to use Pwnage Tool and when I have to use expert to choose the IPSW file and it says im using the wrong version I also have a 2.2 version and it too says i have the wrong version, how do i fix this.
