If iTunes prompts you to download a file, you did not hold down the alt key when clicking Restore . You do not want to download and install the file from Apple (or you’ll just be re-installing the 2.0 firmware). I am trying to do this on an Ipod touch 1st Gen… I managed to update it to 2.0 with an ipsw file from torrents… but PWNAGE keeps saying that I have the wrong ipsw firmware bundle selected. THANK YOU!!! MERCI! For everyone with the (6) error, i got it trying with the 2.0.2 update. Pour tout le monde avec le (6) erreur, je l'ai eu en essayant avec la mise à jour 2.0.2. Everything went wrong, so i restored the ipod with a local 2.0 firmware and then didn´t update to 2.0.2. Tout se passait mal, alors je rétabli l'iPod avec un firmware 2,0 locales et n'a pas mise à jour 2.0.2. Then, i started all over again, first making sure that “Device Support” was empty. Ensuite, j'ai commencé une fois de plus, tout d'abord faire en sorte que "Device Support" était vide. In Step3, i got two bundles: 2.0 and 2.0.1, so i choose 2.0; everything worked right. En Etape 3, j'ai obtenu deux faisceaux: 2,0 et 2.0.1, ainsi je choisir 2,0, tout a fonctionné. Now, i got a question: i´ve already installed some apps, use the wifi, use openssh (succesfully connected via sftp), sync info, etc. BUT I can´t set a passcode, the ipod won´t use the passcode and if i try to reset it it tells me it´s wrong. Maintenant, j'ai une question: J'ai déjà installé des applications pour utiliser le wifi, l'utilisation openssh (avec succès connecté via SFTP), synchronisation d'infos, etc mais je ne peux pas définir un mot de passe, l'iPod de ne pas utiliser le code d'authentification Et si je essayer de le réinitialiser, il me dit que c'est faux. I even restored the ipod (using the pwnage bundle, everything went cool, got my pineapple fast…), thinking that i maybe messed the passcode when i set it, but nooop… it´s the same. Ash, don´t know in win, but in the mac, the tool creates the firmwarebundle in the desktop. Ash, ne savent pas en gagner, mais dans le mac, l'outil crée le firmwarebundle dans le bureau. Cheers. À la vôtre.
I messed up my jailbreak and ended up installing 2.02. J'ai foiré mon Jailbreak et a fini par l'installation de 2,02. It says you can install the windows one on on a 2.02 ipod touch, will this work for macs too? Il dit que vous pouvez installer les fenêtres sur un 2,02 sur un ipod tactile, ce travail pour les Macs? Do I need to downgrade first? Ai-je besoin de rétrograder en premier? Also you say to hold down the ALT key. Aussi pour vous dire maintenez enfoncée la touche ALT. On my Imac the alt key is the option key unless you hold down shift, should I hold down shift and alt or just option. Sur mon Imac la touche Alt est la touche Option à moins que vous ne maintenez Shift, devrais-je tenir Shift et Alt ou tout simplement l'option.
