This brief tutorial will guide you through formatting a USB thumb drive (also called USB flash drives). 1. Formatting a drive, of any kind, will wipe out all of the data on that drive. Formatar um drive, de qualquer espécie, irá destruir todos os dados sobre essa unidade. Make sure you’ve copied any files from your USB thumb drive to a different location before formatting. 2. Plug in the device and open My Computer . Ligue o dispositivo e abra Meu computador. Right-click the USB drive and select Format… . Clique com o botão direito e escolha a unidade USB Formato….



3. Select the File System that best suits your needs, and give the drive a name in the Volume label field. Selecione o arquivo do sistema que melhor atende às suas necessidades, e dar impulso a um nome no rótulo Volume campo. Click Start to format the drive. Clique em Iniciar para formatar a unidade.



4. Click OK on the warning window. Clique em OK na janela de advertência.



5. Once the format has completed, click OK . Uma vez que o formato tenha concluído, clique em OK.



6. And now your USB thumb drive will be wiped clean, with the new volume label (name) applied. E agora o seu polegar drive USB serão exterminados limpo, com o novo volume label (nome) aplicada.
