Αν και έχω καλύψει προηγουμένως Πώς να εγκαταστήσει WordPress Vista παραθύρων, εκείνη η μέθοδος χρησιμοποίησε έναν σωρό BitNami, ο οποίος έρχεται με μερικά μειονεκτήματα. Η μέθοδος που περιγράφεται σε αυτό το σεμινάριο θα σας αφήσει με μια τέλεια εγκατάσταση WordPress στο PC σας - που είναι μεγάλο να χρησιμοποιήσει ως ανάπτυξη και εξεταστικό περιβάλλον.
- Προτού να εγκαταστήσετε WordPress, σιγουρευτείτε ότι εγκαθιστάτε WAMP (παράθυρα, Apache, MySQL & πέσος Φιλιππίνων). Ευτυχώς έχουμε το α σεμινάριο που σας περπατά μέσω κάθε βήματος της εγκατάστασης και της διαμόρφωσης WAMP. Μόλις έχετε αυτού που γίνεται, συνεχιστείτε με το βήμα #2.
- Χτυπήστε την εικόνα WAMP στο δίσκο συστημάτων σας και επιλέξτε www κατάλογος.
- Ο εξερευνητής θα ανοίξει το φάκελλο C:\wamp\www\. Αυτό είναι όπου το HTML σας, τα πέσος Φιλιππίνων και άλλα αρχεία περιοχών κατοικούν. Θα παρατηρήσετε index.php αρχείο. Αυτό ένα αρχείο WAMP (αυτό που παρέχει τους συντομότερους δρόμους στο phpMyAdmin κ.λπ.). Δεν θέλετε να το διαγράψετε, αλλά επίσης πιθανώς δεν θέλετε να του αφήσετε με τον τίτλο index.php.
- Το μετονομάστε στο κάτι άλλο (παραδείγματος χάριν, wamp.php).
- Τώρα μεταφορτώστε WordPress, και εξάγετε τον στο φάκελλο του C:\wamp\www\
- Όταν εξάγετε WordPress, θα δημιουργήσει έναν φάκελλο αποκαλούμενο wordpress. Εάν χρησιμοποιείτε WAMP συγκεκριμένα για την ανάπτυξη WordPress, και δεν θέλετε να έχετε το blog σας να παρουσιάσει στη διεύθυνση http://localhost/wamp (και μάλλον αυτό επίδειξη στο http://localhost) - να επιλέξει όλα τα αρχεία στο φάκελλο wordpress, τους διαγράψτε και $ψτε στο φάκελλο του C:\wamp\www\.
- Τώρα φορτώστε τη config οθόνη WAMP στη μηχανή αναζήτησης σας με την είσοδο της διεύθυνσης http://localhost/wamp.php - υποθέτοντας μετονομάσατε το config αρχείο WAMP σε wamp.php (στο βήμα #4).
- Εργαλεία τμήμα, επίλεκτο phpmyadmin.
- Σύνδεση στο phpMyAdmin.
- Για να δημιουργήσετε μια νέα βάση δεδομένων για WordPress, επιλέξτε Βάσεις δεδομένων σύνδεση.
- Δημιουργήστε τη νέα βάση δεδομένων το τμήμα, εισάγεται wordpress δεδομένου ότι το όνομα βάσεων δεδομένων (ή κάτι ομοίως περιγραφικό) και χτυπά Δημιουργήστε.
- Σιγουρευτείτε ότι παίρνετε μια επιβεβαίωση ότι η βάση δεδομένων δημιουργήθηκε επιτυχώς.
- Τώρα εισάγετε http://localhost/ στη μηχανή αναζήτησης σας. Θα χαιρετηθείτε με το WordPress «παίρνοντας την αρχισμένη» οθόνη. Χτυπήστε Δημιουργήστε ένα αρχείο διαμόρφωσης κουμπί.
- Αναθεωρήστε τις πληροφορίες, και χτυπήστε έπειτα Πηγαίνετε! κουμπί.
- Όνομα βάσεων δεδομένων ο τομέας, εισάγεται wordpress (ή ο, τιδήποτε βάση δεδομένων ονομάζει διευκρινίσατε πίσω στο βήμα #11). Εισάγετε ρίζα σαν Όνομα χρηστών (unless you’ve created another MySQL user) and your MySQL password in the Password field. Your Database Host should be set to localhost and the Table Prefix should remain wp_ (but can be changed if you wish). When you’re done, click Submit.
- Now click Run the install.
- A few seconds later you’ll be presented with the Information needed screen. Give your blog a title, and enter your email address in the provided fields. If you’re using this WordPress installation as a development site, uncheck the Allow my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Technorati. Click Install WordPress.
- Make note of your username (admin) and assigned password, then click the Log In button.
- Enter your Username and Password in the appropriate fields, and once again click Log In.
- That’s it! You can start writing posts, uploading/creating themes etc.

Thanks for an excellent in depth tutorial. Unfortunately I can’t quite complete it.
I’ve successfully installed WAMP and on installing WordPress I’ve stopped on item 7. I have done exactly as instructed but get the message, NOT FOUND The requested URL /wamp.php was not found on this server.
However I moved on and stumbled on item 13 and get the message, There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file.
I can’t get any further and would appreciate any advice you can offer please.

Great tuts especially the one “that walks you through each step of installing and configuring WAMP. ”
Just one snag I ran into. At step 17 where I had to enter blog title and email. I click on “Install Wordpress” and nothing happens except for down in the status bar it say “Waiting for localhost…”
Do you have any ideas what’s up with that?

Well..i always wanted to load WP on my desktop to experiment some themes modification, but absolutely no idea how to do it! Thanks putting this up for sharing. ^^;
