If you're at all like me, your desktop can become rather cluttered with files over time. Ja jūs vispār, piemēram, man, jūsu darbvirsmas var kļūt diezgan pārblīvēta ar failiem laikā. One way to at least have files stored in your /home folder rather than your /home/Desktop folder is to set your /home folder as your actual Desktop. It's probably worth mentioning that this isn't actually specific to Ubuntu. Tas ir iespējams, vērts pieminēt, ka tas nav reāli specifiski Ubuntu. 1. Open the gconf-editor by typing Alt+F2 on your keyboard. Open GConf-editor ierakstot Alt + F2 uz klaviatūras. Enter gconf-editor in the space provided and click the Run button. Ievadiet GConf-redaktoru paredzētajā vietā un noklikšķiniet uz pogas Palaist.



2. From the left navigation pane, select apps -> nautilus -> preferences . No kreisās navigācijas rūtī izvēlieties apps -> Nautilus -> preferences. In the window on the right side, place a check in the box labeled desktop_is_home_dir . Ir logs uz labo pusi, vietu pārbaudi lodziņu desktop_is_home_dir. Close the gconf-editor . Aizvērt GConf-editor.

3. Save any open work and log out (press ctrl+alt+del on your keyboard). Saglabāt visas atvērtās darbu un log out (nospiediet taustiņu kombināciju CTRL + ALT + del uz tastatūras). Sign in again, and your “Desktop” will actually be your /home folder. Pierakstieties vēlreiz, un savu "Desktop" tiks faktiski jūsu / home mapi.
