Eee PC Linux

This brief tutorial will show you how to customize the EeeDora panel to include helpful items like a battery monitor, weather display etc.

Now that you have EeeDora (Fedora) installed on your Eee PC, you’ll want to customize it a bit. The first step is to create a panel that includes the items you need. It’s really quite simple.

  1. Right-click on the bottom panel and select Add New Item.
  2. From the menu that appears, select an item that you want to include in your panel, and click the Add button.
  3. Repeat the above two steps until you have all the items you find useful. That’s it!
