Deze gids zal u door de stappen lopen die worden vereist om Adobe AIR in Ubuntu Linux te installeren. Het zal u ook tonen hoe te om een toepassing van AIR te installeren.
- Begin langs het downloaden van Adobe AIR.
- Zodra de download heeft voltooid, open een uitgezochte Terminal ( Toepassingen -> Toebehoren -> Terminal). Gebruik CD bevel aan schakelaar aan de omslag dat u het dossier van AIR aan downloadde. Als u het dossier op uw Desktop opsloeg, type:
CD ~/Desktop
- De de installatieinterface zal van AIR lanceren. Klik Ik ga akkoord om te beginnen.
- AIR duurt niet te lang om te installeren.
- Zodra het heeft voltooid, klik Eindig knoop.
- Nu is het tijd om een toepassing van AIR te vinden te installeren. Omwille van het dit leerprogramma, installeerde ik Twhirl, Twitter, een FriendFeed, een identi.ca en een cliënt Seesmic. Sommige pagina's zullen ontdekken automatisch welk Werkend Systeem u, gebruikt en verkeerd u vertelt dat AIR niet op het (zie screenshot hieronder) wordt gesteund. Negeer dat bericht, bepaal de plaats van de downloadverbinding, en download het dossier.
- U kunt het dossier direct openen nadat het gebruikend Firefox is gedownload Open met kom, of enkel sparen het dossier voor en klik het tweemaal zodra de download heeft voltooid.
- De installateur van de Toepassing van AIR zal, zal u openen en ertoe aanzetten om AIR app te installeren.
- Afhankelijk van de toepassing, zou u uit met een nieuw Desktoppictogram voor het kunnen beëindigen.
- En nu hebt u AIR app die in Ubuntu loopt!
Om het dossier uitvoerbaar te maken, ga het bevel in:
chmod +x adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin (waar adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin de naam/de versie van Adobe AIR voor Linux is die u downloadde).
Tot slot om de installatie, type te leiden:
./adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin (opnieuw, waar adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin de naam/de versie van Adobe AIR voor Linux is die u downloadde).

Ubuntu is but one of umpteen Linux distributions. I’d like to know why you think you instructions only apply to Ubuntu?
It’s one of umpteen but it also the fastest growing. It also attracts a lot of new users. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt to target that audience. People who aren’t using Ubuntu or realize that Ubuntu is Linux–if they’re using Ubuntu I’m sure they do–don’t need to complain that they said Ubuntu instead of Linux in general and already know how to do this.

Sadly, outside of the app you suggested, I’m unable to download anything remotely useful from Adobe Air Marketplace. Even though I have Air installed and running (after following your instructions), all of Adobe’s choices say that my platform (Ubuntu 8.04) is not supported. When I click the “Install Now” links on each of the apps, the picture momentarily changes color but nothing else happens. Is there a better place to get Adobe Air apps than from their website?

Yeah. Outside of the applications that people always mention, none of the air applications found on Adobe’s site can be installed. I click on the Install button in the flash animation for ANY app, and I get a really long middle finger with a ring that has a Windows logo on it.
I’m having a bad Linux day. It’s one of the those days, I wish something worked without me having to bend over backwards. I love Ubuntu, but today’s not the day. =(
