Detta vägleder ska går dig till och med kliver krävt för att installera Adobe LUFTAR i Ubuntu Linux. Det ska också show dig hur man installerar en LUFTAapplikation.
- Starta by nedladda Adobe LUFTA.
- En gång har nedladdningen avslutat, öppnar ett slutligt (valt Applikationer -> Tillbehör -> Slutligt). Använd cd befalla för att koppla till mappen att du nedladdade LUFTA sparar till. Om du sparade spara på ditt skrivbords-, typ:
cd ~/Desktop
- LUFTAinstallationen har kontakt den ska barkassen. Klicka Jag instämm att börja.
- LUFTA tar inte för långt till installation.
- Klicka, när det har avslutat, Fullföljande knäppas.
- Nu är det tid att finna en LUFTAapplikation till installation. För saken av denna tutorial installerade jag Twhirl, en Twitter, en FriendFeed, en identi.ca och en Seesmic beställare. Några sidor som automatiskt ska, avkänner vilket fungerande system du använder, och berättar dig att att felaktigt LUFTA, stöttas inte på det (se nedanför screenshot). Ignorera det meddelande, lokalisera nedladdningen anknyter och nedladdar spara.
- Du kan öppna spara direkt, efter den har nedladdats genom att använda Firefoxen Öppna med presentera eller den rättvisa räddningen spara och dubblett-klicka den, när nedladdningen har avslutat.
- LUFTAapplikationmontören ska öppet och snabbt dig för att installera LUFTA app.
- Beroende av applikationen avslutar du styrkan ut med en ny skrivbords- symbol för den.
- Och nu har du ett LUFTAapp-spring i Ubuntu!
Skriv in befalla för att göra spara utförbar:
chmod +x adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin LUFTA för Linux (var adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin är det känt/versionen av Adobe, som du nedladdade).
Slutligen att köra installationen typ:
./adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin (igen, var adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin är det känt/versionen av Adobe, LUFTA för Linux som du nedladdade).

Ubuntu is but one of umpteen Linux distributions. I’d like to know why you think you instructions only apply to Ubuntu?
It’s one of umpteen but it also the fastest growing. It also attracts a lot of new users. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt to target that audience. People who aren’t using Ubuntu or realize that Ubuntu is Linux–if they’re using Ubuntu I’m sure they do–don’t need to complain that they said Ubuntu instead of Linux in general and already know how to do this.

Sadly, outside of the app you suggested, I’m unable to download anything remotely useful from Adobe Air Marketplace. Even though I have Air installed and running (after following your instructions), all of Adobe’s choices say that my platform (Ubuntu 8.04) is not supported. When I click the “Install Now” links on each of the apps, the picture momentarily changes color but nothing else happens. Is there a better place to get Adobe Air apps than from their website?

Yeah. Outside of the applications that people always mention, none of the air applications found on Adobe’s site can be installed. I click on the Install button in the flash animation for ANY app, and I get a really long middle finger with a ring that has a Windows logo on it.
I’m having a bad Linux day. It’s one of the those days, I wish something worked without me having to bend over backwards. I love Ubuntu, but today’s not the day. =(
