UPS levererade slutligen min nya Nokia N95 8GB igår. I förväntan av dess ankomst hade jag spenderat förgånget forska för vecka som var alla, kyler saker en kan göra med dessa ringer. Det verkar likt överheten som är inte önskar dig som installerar programvara på din N95 om inte dess undertecknat. Tyvärr passande gäller uppta som omkostnad en ackrediterad Symbian bärare mer slagsmål och än den är värd för den genomsnittliga Joen som önskar precis till att kodifiera för försök kyler applikationer för baserade Symbian ringer. Luckily har jag funnit a långt för att installera unsigned applikationer på min N95. Den ska tutorialen vägleder efter dig till och med att göra precis det.
- Nedladdning denna vinande sparar och det extraktet tillfredsställer någonstans på ditt hårda drev. Minns läget. Notera: Jag använde Virusslutsumma för att avläsa varje spara i vinandet för att se till att de är all fri virus.
- Anknyta din dator till ditt ringer med en USB-datakabel.
- Bläddra till ditt ringer samlas - lagring och skapar en tillfällig mapp. Jag namngav min `- vikarier.
- Kopiera fyrana sparar från N95_Files.zip in i vikariemappen.
- En gång sparar kopieras lyckat, dig kan koppla från ditt ringer från datoren. Se till och koppla från din apparat riktigt, koppla från inte precis kabeln. Konsultera dokumentationen för att ditt fungerande system ska finna ut hur man kopplar från riktigt, och att ta bort en USB samlas - lagringsapparaten utan dataförlust.
- Bläddrande till vikariemappen som du skapade på din telefon samlas - lagring, genom att välja Meny -> Bearbetar -> Spara chefen. Notera att sparachefstandarderna till att bläddra ringer inre minne. Klicka Högert toggle till flyttningen till samlas - lagring.
- Bläddra besegrar till vikariemappen och väljer den.
- En gång i vikariemappen, snirkel till Y_Browser_3rdEd_088_3.SIS och välj det.
- Du ska frågas, om du önskar att installera Y-Webbläsare. Valt Ja.
- På det nästa avskärma valt Fortsätta.
- De nästa avskärmer betalningspåminnelser dig för att installera valfritt språk sparar. Vid standard är alla språk utvalda. Jag bläddrade till och med lista och valde bort alla bortsett från engelska. Därefter valt REKO.
- Därefter meddelas du för att välja huruvida dig önskar att installera Y-Webbläsare till Ringa minnet eller till Samlas minnet. Jag valde ringer minne.
- De nästa avskärmer berättar dig vilka delar av ringa den ska applikationen tar fram. Valt Fortsätta.
- Det är det för Y-Webbläsare.
- Installera nu HelloCarbide, som samma var, som du gjorde för Y-Webbläsare.
- Valt Meny -> DrJukka.com -> Y-Webbläsare, then select OK.
- Now Y-Browser is running.
- Don’t do anything with Y-Browser just yet. Instead, press and hold the Menu key to pop up the Task Manager. Make sure Standby is highlighted and press Select.
- Now press Menu -> Applications -> HelloCarbide
- Press Options -> Menu 1
- It should say Done…probably. Select Yes and HelloCarbide will exit.
- Now run Y-Browser by selecting Menu -> DrJukka.com -> Y-Browser as you did before.
- Now we need to copy installer.exe and CProfDriver_SISX.ldd from the temp folder on our Mass Memory to C:\SYS\BIN. Select E: and press the center toggle button.
- Scroll to the temp folder and press the center toggle again.
- Highlight CProfDriver_SISX.ldd and press Options -> Edit -> Copy.
- Highlight installserver.eve, and press Options -> Edit -> Copy. You will be prompted to append the second file to the copy list. Select Yes.
- Press the left toggle until you get back to the list of drives, then go into C:\SYS\BIN by toggling up or down and selecting with the center button.
- Now select Options -> Edit -> Paste. When prompted whether you want to paste two files in this folder, select Yes.
- Now exit Y-Browser. Select Options -> Exit.
- After restarting your phone, select Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Applications -> App. Manager. Make sure Software Installation is set to All and Online Certificate Check is set to Off.
- Enjoy installing unsigned applications!
Important: You must restart your phone before these changes will take affect!

I have been using N95 8GB for more than half a year now and I am lovin it!!! Thats a good tutorial to install unsigned applications. Never tried before though as I always sign all the applications manually before I install.

For all those non-N95 users, I believe Joel Thomas’ advice (Thread #1) is a better alternative. Albeit time consuming but it always works. Thanks anyways you guys!

All was well until it came to the hello carbide app. When it said to look for hello carbide in the applications, hellocarbide was not there, so i installed it. then it was there. But when i continued in the tutorial from there, when i try to go into file manager or settings it doesn’t let me. This is very frustrating can anyone help? It doesn’t let me access y browser through DrJukka either.
never mind, i got it to work. I just had to redo all the steps. But now i cant find a tutorial that shows me where to install this stuff.

Replace old y-browser and follow steps, I just did and works fine.
