TrueCrypt is a free, open source, system for establishing and maintaining an on-the-fly-encrypted filesystem. TrueCrypt هي حرة ومفتوحة المصدر ، لإقامة النظام والحفاظ على ذبابة على ملفات مرمزة. TrueCrypt is available for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X. Encrypted volumes can be used with any supported OS regardless of which OS they were created on. 11. Run TrueCrypt by clicking Applications -> Other -> TrueCrypt . البعيد TrueCrypt بالنقر على تطبيقات --> أخرى --> TrueCrypt.

12. Click Create Volume to start the Volume Creation Wizard . انقر فوق إنشاء حجم التداول لبدء معالج إنشاء المجلد.

13. In this example I’m going to create an encrypted volume on an entire USB stick rather than the default encrypted file container. في هذا المثال سأذهب لتهيئة مشفرة على حجم كامل USB عصا بدلا من التقصير مشفرة ملف الحاويات. Click Create a volume within a partition/drive then click Next . انقر فوق إنشاء حجم ضمن التقسيم / حملة ثم انقر فوق التالي.

14. The default Volume Type is a Standard TrueCrypt volume , which is fine with me. حجم التداول الافتراضي هو نوع TrueCrypt حجم الموحدة ، التي على ما يرام معي. Click Next . انقر فوق التالي.

15. Next we have to choose the Volume Location . لدينا المقبل لاختيار حجم الموقع. Click Select Device . انقر فوق اختيار جهاز.

16. My USB stick shows up as /dev/sdb , so I selected /dev/sdb and clicked OK . بلادي USB عصا كما يظهر / ديف / sdb ، حتى إنني المختارة / ديف / sdb والنقر موافق. 17. Now the Volume Location shows /dev/sdb . الآن حجم الموقع وتبين / ديف / sdb. Click Next . انقر فوق التالي.

18. When prompted if you’re sure you want to encrypt the entire device, click Yes . عندما يطلب منك إذا كنت متأكد من أنك تريد لتشفير الجهاز بأكمله ، انقر فوق نعم.

19. The following error message surprised me. رسالة الخطأ التالية أدهشني. I would have though TrueCrypt would have given me the option to delete the partitions. وإن كنت قد TrueCrypt من شأنه أن يعطي لي الخيار لحذف أجزاء القرص. 20. Now click Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal . الآن انقر فوق للتطبيقات --> ملحقات --> المحطة الطرفية.

21. The following steps will delete the existing partition from the USB stick. الخطوات التالية سوف تحذف من القائمة تقسيم USB عصا. This will erase any files on the device so make sure you have a backup if there’s anything on it that you want to keep. هذا وسوف يمحو أية ملفات على جهاز حتى التأكد من انك احتياطية اذا كان هناك اى شىء على أنها تريد أن تبقي.

    In the terminal window type sudo fdisk /dev/sdb substituting sdb with the correct device name for your USB stick. في محطة نافذة نوع sudo fdisk / ديف / sdb الاستعاضة sdb مع تصحيح اسم للجهاز الخاص بك USB عصا. Enter your password if prompted, then simply enter d to delete the partition, then w to write the changes to the device. أدخل كلمة المرور إذا دفعت ، ثم ببساطة دخول د حذف التقسيم ، ثم ث لكتابة التغييرات إلى هذا الجهاز. Close the terminal window. إغلاق نافذة الصالة.

22. Now we’re back at the TrueCrypt Volume Creation Wizard. الآن نعود TrueCrypt حجم التداول في إنشاء معالج. Click Next . انقر فوق التالي.

23. Enter your password when prompted and click OK . ادخال كلمة السر عندما دفعت وانقر فوق موافق.

24. The default Encryption Options are good enough for me. التشفير الخيارات الافتراضية هي جيدة بما فيه الكفاية بالنسبة لي. Click Next . انقر فوق التالي.

25. Now enter and confirm the password you want to use for your encrypted volume, then click Next . الآن تدخل وتأكيد كلمة السر التي تريد استخدامها لحجم مشفرة الخاص بك ، ثم انقر فوق التالي.

26. TrueCrypt warned me that the password I chose was too short, but seeing how this is just an example I clicked Yes to confirm that I was fine with the short password. وحذر TrueCrypt لي أن اخترت كلمة السر كانت قصيرة للغاية ، ولكن كيفية رؤية هذا مجرد مثال أنا النقر على نعم لتأكيد أن الأول كان مع غرامة القصير كلمة السر.

Note that if you want to be able to use your encrypted USB stick with Windows systems too, you must use the FAT filesystem. علما انه اذا اردت ان تكون قادرة على استخدام مساعيكم مشفرة USB عصا مع أنظمة الويندوز أيضا ، يجب استخدام ملفات القوات المسلحة التوغولية. Click Next . انقر فوق التالي.

28. Wiggle your mouse cursor around within the TrueCrypt window for a bit, then click Format . تذبذب مؤشر الماوس الخاص بك حول إطار النافذة لTrueCrypt قليلا ، ثم انقر فوق الشكل.

29. You will be warned that all files currently on your USB stick will be erased. هل سيكون حذر من ان جميع الملفات حاليا على عصا USB الخاص بك سوف تمحى. Click Yes . انقر فوق نعم.

32. We’re not going to create another TrueCrypt volume, so click Exit . لسنا بصدد خلق TrueCrypt حجم آخر ، حتى انقر فوق إنهاء.

36. Enter the password you chose when encrypting the volume and click OK . أدخل كلمة السر التي اخترتها عندما تشفير حجم وانقر فوق موافق.

37. Note that the encrypted volume now shows up in the top pane and an icon representing the encrypted volume has appeared on the desktop. علما أن حجم مشفرة الآن يظهر في أعلى لوحة وأيقونة تمثل مشفرة حجم ظهرت على سطح المكتب. Click Exit . انقر فوق إنهاء.

38. Double-click on the TrueCrypt volume icon on the desktop and you have a fresh, blank, encrypted disk to use just as you would any other disk. انقر نقرا مزدوجا على TrueCrypt حجم أيقونة على سطح المكتب لديك وجديدة ، فارغة ، مشفرة لاستخدام القرص فقط بما تحب أن أي القرص.

39. When you are finished using your encrypted volume, open TrueCrypt again by selecting Applications -> Other -> TrueCrypt . عندما تنتهي من استخدام حسابك حجم مشفرة ، فتح TrueCrypt مرة أخرى عن طريق اختيار تطبيقات --> أخرى --> TrueCrypt.
