أنت قد جلبت بعض [فلك] مبارد, ربّما من http://bt.etree.org والآن يريد أنت أن يحوّل ال [فلك] مبارد إلى [مب3] إلى لقطة مع أنت على [إيبود] ك أو [مب3] لاعب. سيمشي هذا [تثتوريل] أنت من خلال ال [ستبس] أن يتمّ فقط أنّ, يستعمل [أوبونتث] [لينوإكس].
- بدأت خارجا ب يطلق ال [سنبتيك] مجموعة مديرة ب ينتقي نظامة -> إدارة -> [سنبتيك] مجموعة مذود. طقطقت ال بحث زرّرت وركضت بحث ل [غسترمر]. حدّدت [غسترمر0.10-بلوجنس-وغل-مولتيفرس], وضعت تدقيق في الصندوق [نإكست تو] هو وانتقيت علامة لتجهيز من ال [بوب-وب].
- الآن ركضت بحث جديدة وبحث للعبارة [سوندكنفرتر]. وضعت ثانية, تدقيق [نإكست تو] هو وانتقيت علامة لتجهيز. طقطقت ال طبّقت زرّ من [توولبر] علويّة.
- الآن سيحضّ أنت كنت أن يركّب مجموعة جديدة. ثانية, طقطقة طبّقت.
- انتقيت أن يطلق محولة صحيحة, تطبيقات -> صوة & فيديو -> محولة صحيحة.
- ما إن صحيحة يفتح محولة, مختارة حرّرت -> أفضليّات
- من ال أين أن يضع نتيجات? ينتقي قسم, الموقعة حيث أنت تريد أن ينقذ ك يحوّل [مب3] مبارد. في ال كيف إلى [نم فيل]? قسم, يفضّل أنا التقصير (باستثناء كمدخل, غير أنّ استبدلت اللاحق) - غير أنّ أنت يستطيع جعلت أيّ تغير أن يتناسب أفضليّاتك.
أخيرا, ال ال نوع النتيجات? ينتقي قسم, ك يفضّل أنتجت شكل (على الأرجح [مب3]). ل ال [بيترت] أسلوب: و نوعية:, ثانية, يفضّل أنا التقصيرات - غير أنّ أنت يستطيع جعلت أيّ تغيرات أنت ترى نوبة. طقطقت ما إن أنت تثبت [ألّ ث] أفضليّات إلى ك يحبّ, ال ختام زرّ.
- الآن هو وقت أن يحوّل بعض [فلك] مبارد. مختارة أضفت ملف إن أنت تتلقّى ملف من [فلك] مبارد (أنّ يكون كيف أنا كنت سأتمّ هو في هذا مثال) أو أضفت مبرد إن أنت فقط تريد أن يحوّل واحدة.
- أبحرت إلى الملف يحتوي ك [فلك] مبارد (أو ال [فلك] فرديّة إن أنت تكون صحيحة يحوّل واحدة) - ينتقي هو, وطقطقة مفتوحة.
- طقطقت أخيرا هو وقت - ال مهتدية زرّ من [توولبر] علويّة.
- سيظهر الوضع من التحويل في الركن سفليّة يسرى.
- فتحت ما إن التحويل قد أتمّ, الملف أنت عيّنت طريق ظهر في خطوة #6 ( أين أن يضع نتيجات?) and all of your newly converted MP3s will be there waiting for you. That’s it - you’re done!

Ross - nice informative post. I just posted over on my blog a way to convert FLAC to MP3 on the fly without having to keep the MP3 around after you copy it off to your player. You can check it out at http://www.sysadminsjourney.com/content/2008/12/11/convert-flac-mp3-fly-mp3fs.

Normally I’d delete your comment as spam (not a big fan of other people leaving comments with links to their blog posts), but that’s actually a very cool concept and setup you have. I wonder how much of a hassle it would be to port/setup in OS X….

I’ve just been using your earlier Windows based post on .flac to .mp3 conversion using Winamp and iTunes. Sadly the current version of iTunes does not perform the conversion. There is, however, a very, very simple way to do this on Linux, OS X and Windows platforms.
Audacity is freeware, the appropriate platform version can be downloaded from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/.
This is a one program two step process.
1) Open the .flac file
2) Export as an .mp3
It really is as simple as that.
This is cross-platform, extremely simple and relatively fast (about 30 minutes for a full CD’s worth on a 1.6 GHz processor) and aside form anything else Audacity is a superb piece of software.
