Ottenga iniziato a usando il sistema di editazione testi Vim

Vim è uno della linea di ordine più potente e più popolare sistemi di editazione testi intorno. Era inizialmente soltanto disponibile per il Linux e le piattaforme dell'UNIX, ma allora ported a Windows inoltre. L'interfaccia è pulita e semplice ed usate una combinazione delle chiavi per effettuare le mansioni quale copia-colla, ricerca e sostituire, cancelli un mazzo di linee e molto più.

Vim viene preinstallato con la maggior parte delle distribuzioni di Linux e sull'OS del Mac. Nel caso non lo avete o non desiderate installarli su un'altra piattaforma potete ottenere l'installatore da?qui. Per gli utenti di Windows dovete andare?qui?e trasferisca l'ultimo rilascio dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti di Vim. Trasferisca la lima dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti di chiusura lampo per la vostra versione di Windows ed estraggala. Allora faccia funzionare l'installatore. L'unica cosa differente fra la versione Mac/di Linux di Vim e la versione di Windows è che la versione di Windows funziona nella relativa propria finestra grafica. Diamo un'occhiata più vicina al relativo uso.

Prima che otteniamo all'uso reale di Vim lascilo brevemente spiegare a voi i due modi in che funzionamenti Vim - ordine e inserto modo. In ordine modo date le istruzioni a Vim per intraprendere una certa azione, quale cancellazione una linea, o cercate una parola. Quando siete in inserto il modo che cosa a macchina scrivete va dentro come testo nel documento che state pubblicando. Quando lancio Vim voi siete in ordine modo. All'interruttore a inserto il modo ha colpito chiave del `l'i' sulla vostra tastiera. Vedrete una notifica alla parte inferiore a sinistra del vostro schermo come questa:

- INSERTO -

Ciò significa che potete ora cominciare a pubblicare la lima. All'interruttore di nuovo al ordine il modo ha colpito appena la chiave di fuga. Troverete che “- INSERTO -„ la notifica alla parte inferiore sparirà. Siete ora in ordine il modo e può insegnare a Vim per cancellare una linea, o per conservare la lima, o qualunque potete desiderare per fare con il documento.

Per aprire una lima o una a attuale per generare un nuovo con Vim uso la seguente sintassi:

# vim helloworld.txt

Se apriste una lima attuale dovreste vedere il relativo soddisfare, o una pagina in bianco se generaste un nuovo. Ora prima che procediamo a usando Vim, vediamo come annullare Vim. This is important because, unlike your standard graphical text editor, you cannot close the window to shut the application. To exit Vim and return to the command line you need to enter the following key combination:

ESC :q ENTER

In plain English the above command goes something like this, “Escape key, then a colon, followed immediately by a ‘q’, and then the Enter key to finish”. The “q” here stands for “quit”. What Vim does here is that it exits without saving any changes you may have made to the file. To save the file and quit add the ‘w’ or “write” option:

ESC :wq ENTER

You can also use the ‘w’ option without the ‘q’, if you just want to save the file while editing it and not quit Vim.

Now that we know how to get in an out of Vim let’s see how to use it. Let’s create a new document with Vim and begin writing:

# vim newdocument.txt

Now hit ‘i’ on your keyboard to get into the insert mode. Write a few lines of text in the file. Once you are done hit the Escape key to go into the command mode, and then “:wq” to save and exit the file. Now let’s see if the file was written correctly. Windows users can open the document we created using Notepad. If you are using Linux or a Mac run the following command to check out the contents of the file:

# cat newdocument.txt

You should see the contents of the file you just created. Now open the same file using Vim and let’s see what more Vim do do. Let’s delete a few words and lines. While in command mode navigate you cursor to he beginning of a word and hit the key combination “dw” followed by Enter. This should delete the word. Now let’s delete a whole line. Pick a line you want to delete and take the cursor to any location in that line and hit the key combination “dd” followed by Enter. Line deleted.

Sometimes you make a mistake that you want to undo, say you want to bring back the line you just deleted. To undo your last action go to the command mode and hit the key “u”. You can continue hitting “u” to undo more changes.
