Come esplorare il vostro Mac per i virus

Secondo il Home Page di ClamXav -

Oggi, il numero di virus attivamente che attacano gli utenti di OS X è… NESSUNO! Tuttavia, questo non significa che dovremmo ottenere compiacenti circa controllare i collegamenti ricevuti del email o i trasferimenti dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti di fotoricettore, per vedere se ci sono due motivi. In primo luogo, non ci è più d'importanza garanzia che utenti del Mac continueremo a godere lo status quo, ma, la maggior parte delle macchine di calcolo di uso del mondo che dirigono MS Windows, per cui una quantità enorme di virus esiste, in modo da dobbiamo essere vigilanti nel controllo delle lime che passiamo sopra ai nostri amici e colleghe.

Così - persino bisogno software del anti-virus sul vostro Mac? Quello spetta voi da decidere. Se decidete che desiderate il software del anti-virus sul vostro Mac, questa lezione privata li guiderà through l'installazione ed usando del ClamXav - (ed aggiornato frequentemente) un dispositivo d'esplorazione libero del virus per l'OS X.

1. Inizi fuori vicino trasferimento dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti del ClamXav dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti. Una volta il trasferimento dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti ha completato, apre la lima di DMG e trascina ClamXav al vostro Applicazioni dispositivo di piegatura.

2. ClamXav non è molto grande, in modo da non prenderà lungamente alla copia/installazione.

3. Apra un caso del cercatore. Selezioni il vostro nome dell'utente a partire dalla finestra di sinistra di navigazione e vada a Biblioteca -> Voci di menu contestuali. Indietro nella finestra aperta di DMG, resistenza ScanWithClamXav.plugin al Voci di menu contestuali dispositivo di piegatura. Segno dal vostro Mac (o dal riavviamento, ma dalla sign fuori ed indietro dentro farà il trucco). La sign fuori ed indietro dentro attiverà ancora “l'esplorazione con ClamXav„ plugin.

4. Ora lancio ClamXav dal vostro dispositivo di piegatura di applicazioni. Sarete spinti ad installare Anti-Virus del mollusco motore. Scatti Installi tasto.



5. Sul Introduzione schermo, scatto Continui.

6. Riveda Accordo di autorizzazione del software ed ancora una volta, scatto Continui.

7. Scatto Accosenta per accettarlo, ancora.

8. Ora scatto Installi.

9. Entri nella vostra parola d'accesso una volta richiamato e nello scatto APPROVAZIONE.

10. Ed ora l'installazione di volontà del motore di esame.

11. Scatto Fine una volta che il processo ha completato.

12. Ora lanci ClamXav dalle vostre applicazioni, ancora. Prima che iniziate l'esplorazione, scatti Definizioni del virus dell'aggiornamento tasto.



13. Una volta che completati, dovreste vedere la a Definizioni del virus aggiornate con successo messaggio di condizione.



14. Ora scatti Preferenze tasto.



15. Sul Generalità la linguetta, fa le selezioni che sono adatte per voi. I opted to quarantine infected files rather than outright delete them, in case of any false positives (ClamXav flagging a file as being infected with a virus, when it in fact isn’t).

16. Depending on which settings you opt for, you may receive a message telling you not to turn on certain features if you plan on having your email scanned or watched. This wasn’t an issue for me as I use Gmail (via the web) but it is something to consider if you use Mail or Entourage for email.



17. Select the Internet tab, and again, make any changes you see fit. I opted to have ClamXav check for all possible updates each time it starts.

18. Select the Schedule tab, and if you’d like to schedule virus scans, this is the place to create them.

19. Select the Folder Sentry tab. From here you can add folders to be constantly monitored for viruses (eg. your Downloads folder). Review the other options and make any changes you see fit. Click OK when you’re done.

20. Back in the main ClamXav window, click the Choose what to scan… button.

21. If you attempt to select your entire startup disk (as indicated in the screenshot below)…

22. you’ll get an error.



23. So instead, just select all of the folders (hold down the Apple Key to select multiple items) on the drive you want to scan. Then click Open.

24. Finally, click the Start Scan button.

25. ClamXav will do a “quick” (it’s not that fast) scan of your drive to determine how many files it’s going to check.

26. And then they actual scan will begin.

27. At this point, you might as well settle in for the long haul. Depending on the size of your hard drive, the number of files on it, and the speed of your Mac, the process can take quite a long time. As indicated in the screenshot below, it took ClamXav 172 min and 31 seconds to complete on my MacBook Pro (an older one). With all of that said, I was able to work on my Mac the entire time without much of a noticeable slowdown. However, I kept my tasks to the relatively ’safe’ - the last thing I wanted was a crash in the middle of the scan, forcing me to start over again. Running the scan overnight while you’re sleeping is probably a good idea.

28. And that’s it. Now you may want to scan your Mac for spyware, malware and tracking cookies.
