This command is very useful for BB's bought on Ebay that still have a security policy envoked on them. You can also use the JLCommander tool to perform the reset as well as completely wiping the BB for full OS reinstallation. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader>loader /resettofactory
