When I tap on my apps a window comes up with a Facebook icon and says free etc. however when I tap on anything nothing happens. And I can’t get it off. Can you help me. I have an iPhone.

double click does not bring up icon, tried many times.

My iPhone 4 freezes whenever I try to open email – for a Up to 15mins it says ‘checking for email’. . I have 3 email accounts on the phone. I have closed apps. Any suggestions?
