Τελευταίο Σάββατο Ανέφερα ότι υπέγραψα επάνω για BlogRush, και ότι θα υπέβαλλα έκθεση πίσω με τα αποτελέσματα σήμερα. Καλά το τμήμα stats (ταμπλό) BlogRush που κλωτσιέται σε αυτήν την εβδομάδα, τόσο τώρα ξέρω πόσους λαούς έχω παραπέμψει, πόσες «πιστώσεις» έχω κερδίσει, και πόσες επισκέψεις BlogRush έχουν στείλει τον τρόπο μου. Μετά από να είσαι τρομαγμένος σε αυτό που είδα όταν είδα την απλή βοήθεια στο Smartphone μου, αποφάσισα ότι ήταν χρόνος να υπολογιστεί ένας τρόπος να γίνει αυτή η περιοχή πιό ελκυστική στους λαούς που χρησιμοποιούν τις κινητές μηχανές αναζήτησης. Δεν πήρε πολύ για με για να βρεί το Alex King's Κινητή έκδοση WordPress plugin. Εάν ακολουθείτε τις οδηγίες που περιγράφονται στο README (που περιλαμβάνεται με μεταφορτώστε) διαρκεί μόνο περίπου 30 δευτερόλεπτα για να μετατρέψει την εγκατάσταση WordPress σας στο α πολύ χρησιμοποιήσιμη περιοχή για τις κινητές μηχανές αναζήτησης Ιστού.

Αντί της αναθεώρησης ή της εισαγωγής σας BlogRush (για αυτόν μπορείτε να ελέγξετε έξω ProBlogger), πρόκειται να δοκιμάσω κάτι λίγο διαφορετικό. Έχω υπογράψει επάνω, πρόσθεσα τον κώδικα στην πλαϊνή μπάρα μου (αν και κατά γενική ομολογία μην δίνοντας του `ιδανική» τοποθέτηση) και πρόκειται να το αφήσω επάνω για μια εβδομάδα. Κατόπιν θα αναφέρω πίσω το επόμενο Σάββατο πόσος (ενδεχομένως) στην κυκλοφορία ότι έχει οδηγήσει. Όπως άλλους, είμαι λίγο δύσπιστος - αλλά θα δούμε. Πρώτη αναπροσαρμογή μετά από την περικοπή -

At some point yesterday (Nov 12th, 2007) Google Webmaster Tools got a bit of a redesign. And at least one new feature was added - Subscriber stats. Now you can view the number of users who have subscribed to your RSS feed(s) using Google products such as iGoogle, Google Reader, and Orkut.
Are there any other new features I missed?

Though this was originally created for another blog, I’ve updated it (more steps, more plugins, more theme sites etc) and posted it here.
One of the great things about WordPress is how easily you can have it up and running, completely customized to your liking, in such a short period of time. After setting up WordPress for several of my friends, I found that having a ‘checklist’ makes things go even faster - so I decided to write it all up and share with you. Please don’t hesitate to use the comments to suggest additions etc, I’ll update the checklist accordingly.

This post could also be called ‘an introduction to JumpBox’, as that’s essentially what it is. JumpBox allows you to install several open source applications, such as WordPress, in a virtual environment (like Parallels, VMWare and Xen). They provide the complete package - WordPress itself, all of its required components (database, runtime dependencies etc) and the virtual machine configuration files.
