This tutorial assumes you have X11 installed on your Mac - if you’re using Leopard, it’s installed by default. If you’re using Tiger, you can find the installation instructions here. And it’s worth mentioning up front - Darwine requires that you have an Intel powered Mac.

How to install IE7 (bypassing Windows Genuine Validation)
Thanks to Shaon’s Weblog, I’m now able to run IE 7.
Update 2: Shaon’s site appears to be back up, so I’ve changed the link back.
Update: Thanks to Guti (see comments below) for pointing out that Shaon’s Weblog is now gone (?!). I’ve updated the link above to direct you to the Google cache (text) of the page on Sharon’s site. The required files are still available for download (as of 10/29/06).
note: Simplehelp in no way, shape or form, condones pirated software. My copy of Windows XP is valid, and I grew very tired of waiting on hold for Microsoft to acknowledge that it is in fact legitimate. It was during my first call to Microsoft (regarding this exact issue) that I decided it was time to give OS X a chance, and I haven’t looked back since.
