Om du skulle något liknande för att förfölja mig direktanslutet, behaga känselförnimmelsen som är fri till beskåda/tillfoga mig på FriendFeed. Om du är mer av en Twitter person, kan du följa min rantings här. Och vem kan lämna ut Facebook - dig kan vara a Enkel hjälp fläktar eller sammanfoga Enkel hjälpgrupp, allt vad flöten ditt fartyg. Men det finns mer - Enkel hjälp är på StumbleUpon och MyBlogLog.

Jag hoppas egentligen att dessa samkvämet knyter kontakt give OpenSocial en riskera.

Jag ska medger, detta är lite en plugga för min vänBa (ja som är hans känt). He has recently launched a fantastic and terribly easy-to-use online product that allows you to create comics - Bitstrips. For those of you who may be witty as hell, but aren’t artistically gifted, Bitstrips does the heavy lifting for you. What are you waiting for, go check it out. Boing Boing has a great article that every Canadian needs to read. It’s brief, to the point, and provides some very easy steps for us to stop some truly awful legislation.

Yesterday one of my roommates (Chris) finally got to meet one of his shero’s - Tori Amos. The pictures turned out great, but one of them came with the dreaded “red-eye”. This tutorial will walk you through the steps to remove red eye from your digital photos using the GIMP image editor.

Google Transit is now available in Vancouver, BC.. Since I currently live in Vancouver, and don’t drive, this is great news for me. Something interesting (to me) is that the main page, simplehelp.net itself, was actually the 3rd most viewed page this month. That has never happened before - it’s usually somewhere around the 12th most viewed page.

For those of you who are Facebook users/junkies (guilty as charged) - Simple Help has a Facebook group. Right now it’s mostly full of my ‘real life’ friends, but by all means please feel free to join. It’s one of the places I collect feedback, post ’sneak peaks’ of things (like the recent redesign) etc. And as always, please feel free to add me on Pownce, though I tend to use it to post music more than anything. Oh I should also mention, I have dozens of Pownce invites if you don’t have one yet. Finally, I have given in and joined the masses on Twitter.

If you’re an RSS reader, please take a moment to view the site itself and take a look at the new design. I’ve been having some (to put it lightly) “issues” getting the template to display properly, and I think I have it worked out now - but your help would be hugely appreciated.

Assuming I don’t have to revert back to the previous design, I’ll do a much longer write-up on the amazing developer (Jamie) who is solely responsible for what I think is a fantastic upgrade.

Update 1: I’ll update this post a few times as things progress. Jamie has added a new style to the items in the nav bars (the icon before each entry) and made the title for each section stand out a bit more. He’s also fixed some issues that were showing up for folks running IE at 1024×768. I’ve re-enabled the Related Posts plugin, and am working on getting them to show up in RSS feeds (thx How2Geek). Also I shrunk the category icons so they didn’t blur into the post divider. Up next are fixes to blockquote, unordered lists in content, adding a search widget to a sidebar and a couple other minor things. Thanks once again to everyone who offered feedback via Pownce, Twitter, Facebook, IM and the site itself.

Though it’s not one of the officially supported Blog Action Day Charities, today I will donate all profits from this and my other web sites to NORML for their efforts in legalizing the growing of Hemp. More info can be found here, here and here.

I’ve been using Joost on and off for about 4 months now. More off than on. It’s not that I didn’t like the app - it was pretty slick and quite solid for an early beta. It’s that there wasn’t a heck of a lot to watch. At some point over the last few weeks, they’ve added a lot of channels/content, and the latest version (beta 1) is even slicker than before.
