Why can’t I load secure web sites? (Online Banking, Webmail etc)

Internet Explorer

If you’re unable to load or view the contents of a secure site (https:// instead of http://), the most common cause for this problem is that the time, date or time zone on your computer is set incorrectly. To verify that the time, date and time zone on your PC is set correctly..

start by double-clicking the time and date area of your task-bar

On the Date and Time tab, ensure that the month, year, date and time are all set correctly.

Then select the Time Zone tab, and make sure that you have the correct time zone set.

Now try to view/sign-in to the secure web site you were having trouble with. If you’re still unable, you may need to restart your PC.
